As soon as I discovered my daughter had dyslexia I went to work looking for help. I realized most schools are not equipped to help kids with learning disabilities. I called several places but when I reached out to Mrs. Wannell during COVID we set up a time so we both could ask questions. I knew in my heart I hit the jackpot! My daughter was well below grade level at reading and was struggling before starting her tutoring sessions. Very quickly her sessions with Mrs. Wannell were the highlight of her week. We never could have imagined how much our daughter would start to love reading again and improve with leaps and bounds. She gained confidence and ended up being several grade levels ahead in reading after a little over 2 years. She is now a straight A student and we know a lot of the success she has had is linked to her time with Mrs. Wannell. We will always be so grateful to the lasting impact she has made on our daughter academically and just building her confidence that she can do hard things.

I enlisted myself under the guidance of Leah from the Forest Heights Reading Center for assistance in my writing of a dissertation and was pleased to notice a proliferation in my writing skills. She took me through all the necessary steps to take my writing to the next level whilst letting me think for myself, allowing me to make my own discoveries in regards to my prose.
