What a gem! The guys that helped with our tour went above and beyond to help are crew including 6 kids enjoy the alpacas by providing food, answering all our questions, and generally just letting us all enjoy hanging with all the alpacas. There were several young babies which was an extra treat! I recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Montrose area!

Flying Iron Ranch was absolutely amazing! I called and was able to talk with Bob. We were able to schedule a tour very last minute and he and his wife were so lovely!
It was my brother and I, and my 88 year old grandma and he was so attentive and accommodating to her!
It was extremely interactive and very educational! We were able to pet, feed, and even walk the alpacas! So much fun! I would recommend everyone to book a tour with Flying Iron Ranch. Absolutely phenomenal.

Very fun place and interactive. Learned a lot. The owners are very knowledgeable and kind to their alpacas. Very kind, let you feed and pet them and take photos. Walk you through all of their products. Some are cute memorabilia items and others are high class clothing and yarn.

We arrived a little early, and were let in to begin the tour. We enjoyed learning about the Alpacas. The tour guide/ranch manager was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We especially enjoyed feeding, walking, and trying to pet the Alpacas. Our five year old daughter especially loved it and wished she could return again the next day!

Absolutely loved visiting with the Alpacas!! The caretakers were super knowledgeable and very friendly! They did an awesome job talking about the alpacas and showing us particular interest items. Highly recommend!
