I’d love to give this place a better rating, and I had a decent time when being trained for my PPL; however, the instructor(s) here were less than ideal and rather unprofessional. When being taught how to sump fuel out of the aircraft wings to check for contamination, I was told to DUMP THE LEADED FUEL onto the ground instead of back into the fuel tank as it was “too big of a hassle” to get back on top of the plane to put it back in. Extremely concerning considering that leaded fuel leaches into the ground affecting our water supply and surrounding wildlife. My training was shortly after COVID, 2021-2023, and my instructor would also go on several rants to me about vaccines and how America is turning into a dictatorship due to certain facilities requiring COVID vaccines. I had been finishing up a two-and-a-half-year chemo treatment for leukemia at the time and was still immunocompromised and was quite offended by the insensitive remarks about vaccines and politics. Alongside this, I had received a rude remark about my short hair and appearance from chemotherapy, and it was less than appreciated. Unfortunately I never ended up finishing training for my PPL due to issues getting my medical but in the future when I circle back I don’t think I’ll be coming here again.

First flight I ever did, the instructor came out with a tie hanging loose off his shirt. Didn't do a full checkup on the plane. Threw fuel out on the runway after sumping it. Then had me doing 360s at 45° (about 6 of them in each direction with turbulence). Then while I was obviously sick proceeded to land the plane in such a rough way that he was pushing into me while we touched down. Then went on to say my schedule doesn't work with his post-flight. I genuinely thought flying wasn't for me due to the experience. Now I'm at a different school, one where they actually do a complete maintenance check and don't treat a first flight like your 10th.

Great place to learn/ rent with friendly staff, good planes, and in-house maintenance. All instructors that I've had the pleasure of working with have been very amicable and competent. My CFI, Tyler Rigby, has always been incredibly hardworking and dedicated to teaching (while of course still being very fun to fly with). He genuinely wants to see students meet their goals-- and as such I feel like I was taught to a nice, high standard. I passed my Private Pilot Checkride just a few days ago, and I intend to follow through with the rest of my training here too 🙂

Best experience there, very affordable and very responsive, they went above and beyond to help me with ratings and getting me an airplane for my Trip to the Grand Canyon, via Santa Fe Sedona, Marble Canyon, Page, Monument Valley and Albuquerque.

Got my PPL through Flights Inc, couldn’t be more happy. Had a really great instructor: Tyler Rigby. Not only was he very knowledgeable, but he was able to figure out how I learned, and adapted his teaching to me, always supportive, safe, and creative with developing tools to help his students succeed. Flights Inc always had great aircraft availability, a good booking system, and has in house maintenance so it is very rare to have an issue with a plane. All staff is friendly and welcoming. Very positive experience!

My experience at Flights-Inc has been wonderful. Flights has a wide range of well kept airplanes with good maintenance. My instructor, Tyler Rigby, was exceptional all the way around and was a major factor in helping easily attain my Commercial certificate. Tyler was always available when I needed help, thorough in the air and on the ground, and an awesome instructor and flight club that I would highly recommend to anybody learning to fly!

I started my time here in May 2023 with CFI Tyler Rigby and just got my private pilot license yesterday! Flying with and learning from Tyler has been such a great experience and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an instructor! He has been understanding and patient with me while also challenging me to be the best pilot/person I can be. Of course all while smiling and laughing along the way. I have learned SO much from him and now have an amazing mentor in the aviation community. Everyone here has been so friendly and made my journey getting my PPL so fun and enjoyable. Amazing service here. THANK YOU GUYS!!
