I had a disappointing experience working with Cris Fick. While the advocate we initially worked with was fantastic, things changed significantly once Cris took over. Communication became inconsistent and scheduling was challenging due to her limited availability. If she was too busy I don't know why she took on my case. Cris rescheduled an observation that took weeks to schedule, only alerting me via text the morning of. However, I later discovered she contacted the school 5 days earlier to reschedule. In the end she missing crucial time in the classroom as she went against my requested classes. She also refused to provide a written report of her observation which is unheard of. During an IEP meeting, she unprofessionally shared private information about our consideration of private school without our consent. Additionally, I feel she overcharges her time, billing an hour for a 16-minute drive according to Google. Overall, I would not recommend her services.
