I can’t say enough about Ferreira Family Fight Academy… I have been training there for three years now, and it has truly changed my life. More than excellent coaching from Professor Bruno and his wife Nicole, the academy is a family. They offer Muay Thai classes as well as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Gi and no gi. They also offer kids classes, starting at four years old. I have personally watched the kids grow in confidence and skill, including my own daughter. Professor Bruno and Coach Nicole offer classes in both Lakeport and Ukiah. Join the family and come roll with us!

My Husband had been coming to FFFA since they opened... I joined shortly after, our daughter and son also do classes here and there?. Professor Bruno and Nicole go above and beyond to provide a clean welcoming place for all levels of people training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA. Not your typical "gym atmosphere " that usually is either intimidating or you feel like you are on your own. With a wide variety of classes, you are sure to find something challenging and FUN!!

Best place to train authentic BJJ and Kickboxing from an experienced black belt, cage fighter from Brazil. Can't get any better than that! Don't let Professor Brunos credentials intimidate you- This is a very family friendly business. Professor Bruno and his wife Nicole run it together, while raising their son. I've been taking my son on and off for 4ish years. Now I am training there along with my younger son. 100% recommend and it's worth every penny.

I started taking my son and daughter here for self defense purposes initially when they were around 10 years old. Around 4 years later and it has undoubtedly been the single most important athletic discipline they have ever been involved in. Not only is it great exercise for anyone, including children, but it has taught my son so much about himself physically and mentally. I feel very secure about my son going out into the world as he gets older and being able to conduct himself respectfully and defend himself if needed. It makes me happy to see the establishment evolve constantly. The instructors and other people at the academy are like family and I highly recommend everyone to get involved.

The academy is conveniently located in Lakeport right off the 101....super important to me. The space is really nice and well equipped. Professor Ferreira is a black belt with experience training law enforcement and was a crisis mediator in Brazil. Lake County is truly blessed to have such a professional! Having the grandkids train here for sure!!

Recently signed my daughter and myself up for Jui Jitsu and it is amazing. The environment and the culture of the gym One of welcome. every one is on the same team working to get better at the game. Honestly has me feeling like a kid again, playing with new found friends. My daughter loves the games they play to learn. Very good environment for self control, focus and discipline as well as fun. For any other women looking at this wondering if it’s all male dominated— not here, equal male and female representation and training, and they ladies are down for a good roll just as much as the guys. 10/10 worth it!

If you want to change your life mentally and physically, look no further. If you want a strong role model for your children, this is the place. A great family atmosphere surrounded by positive people who truly love and respect for each other. My family will train here for years to come. My 13yo old son has been going here since they opened and he absolutely loves it. The owners are great and easy to work with - such an asset to the community. Great way to keep in shape and build confidence.
