I really didn't appreciate the almost immediate attitude I received as I walked in the door. I followed directions from AT&T and brought my router and equipment as requested by email to a FedEx to drop it off. (Other option was UPS) I simply did not have my AT&T account number ready to give employee. Directions in the email didn't indicate I would need it..I shouldn't have assumed it would be that easy I guess. I could have been better prepared. The employee that I spoke with seemed annoyed that I had to sign in to find my account number...which took a few minutes to load. Her tone and body language was simply rude.

I've worked in customer service jobs in the past, and I now work in healthcare. I know how hard it can be to work customer service jobs. Short staffing, difficult customers/patients...I've faced it as well. It can be hard to put on a smile and continue to work the job. But it can be done.

I will not be back to this business. I got there at 7:45 am, store opens at 8:00 am, on March 12,2025. I needed to fax some important information, and I don’t know how to fax (yes I know most people do, but I do not). The customer service rep there, only one female, would do nothing to help me. She was more interested in watching a wreck that had happened on 280. She knew I didn’t know how. I asked her if she would do it for me, happy to pay, but she would not. Said I had to use self serve. I did not know how to use those machines. The first was broken, so that was even worse. Went to the second machine-she did tell me to do that- and I could not do it. I was alone in the store. Another customer came in, and she began helping him, then another customer came in, and she helped her, but I got no help. I told her I was leaving because I could not get help from her, and she could have cared less. Whomever is in charge of this store needs to watch what is happening.. BTW, went to UPS at Cahaba Heights. The young lady, Nicole, could not have been nicer. She faxed the document for me, and she actually gave me a discount after hearing how I had been treated at FEDEXKINKOS on 280. UPS at Cahaba Heights is my new “go to”‘place. Have not received such poor customer service in many years.

I had a very custom project (with several print jobs included) for my dad’s celebration of life, and David and team were very responsive and willing to work with me on it/them. Incredible customer service, especially as a quick turnaround request. Fast forward a week later when an organization I partner with reached out after their printer falling through. I reached out to David and team, and they worked with us on that, too! I will not go to a different FedEx just as long as they are at this location. Thanks, everyone! Incredible work!

Customer service has always been terrible at this location. Recently they lost a package of mine that was shipped via 2 day express. The only way I knew they lost it was that the receiver contacted me to let me know they never got it. The person who helped me knew it was a check for a large amount - hopefully that didn't have anything to do with it disappearing. I tracked it and it said the location still had it there. When I contacted them they basically told me the only option was to file a claim with their 1800 number. Lastly, it is not a safe location. When I was in there shipping it, a man ran in saying a guy outside had brandished a gun at him and asked them to call the police for him. All of the workers stood around watching, no one called the police, and they talked about whether or not to lock the doors and decided not to. Crazy experience only to have my package I was shipping with a check in it go missing, yet still saying it's at that location.

Five-Star Review for David at FedEx, Inverness Location (Highway 280)

I had an outstanding experience with David at the FedEx in Inverness off Highway 280. From the moment I walked in, his immediate greeting and welcoming attitude made me feel at ease. His patience and helpfulness were truly appreciated, especially as I was preparing information for a bid on a new job and was feeling a bit lost.

David went above and beyond to assist me, even when others might have said no. He figured out a way to help me get everything prepared without making me feel clueless. His patient and solution-focused approach was remarkable and made all the difference in my experience.

This FedEx location will be my go-to from now on. Thank you, David, for your awesome customer service!

This place closes at 6:00 PM on Saturdays!! The package we had was HUGE and a return. It would be as much to return it as it cost us... but the lady at FedEx here was super nice. She helped me out quite a bit. Luckily it was not busy when I showed up. The package was heavy and when I took it back to the car (this thing may just be dropped off at Good Will or a thrift store...)she let me borrow a cart thing! She was very nice and sympathetic!
But did this review to update their hours. This place closes at 6:00 PM on Saturdays!! Not 7:00 PM.

I am building a board game called “run rings around the zodiac” I have come to this FedEx store several times. The daytime manager Teddy has been very helpful. Downloading files off of Etsy. Emailing them to their hub, then printing them and cutting them into little cards. Teddy has always been courteous, efficient, helpful, and a real asset to the store.

The post office has better customer service than this place. To whoever owns/runs this location, please evaluate Veronica’s work performance. According to other reviews here, I am not the only customer to have a negative run-in with this employee, and I believe you can find someone better. I would give one star, but I give credit where credit is due. My package arrived on time but at triple the cost of USPS with worst customer service.
