Ethel’s is not a childcare center I would recommend to anyone. The reason being is because she closes her daycare anytime she feel the need to. She doesn’t understand that people pay childcare for a reason and not because they just need a babysitter. Around holidays she closes two or three days before after or after the holiday like parents don’t have to work. Then she charges you for the full week when she’s probably going to be open 1-2 days out of the week. She also wants to charge a late fee when you don’t pick your child up on time but wants to close the daycare in the middle of the week. She is very unprofessional. She closes her business due to family issues and all. She doesn’t care about parents having to work and not able to take off because she wants to close her business whenever she feels like it.

This daycare is absolutely horrible. Do not send your kids here. The most ghetto daycare in Jacksonville probably the state of AR. Ms Ethel and her staff are not professional and DO not take care of your kids. Baby comes home with a diaper full of urine. Kids are late being picked up from school. A total waste of money. Please take your kids somewhere that is caring and professional. It looks like a lil shack and no kid should be in an environment like that.

was told that 1 week of child care was 75 dollars. went to place they said price went up to 100 dollars per week, I paid 100 dollars. After the first day of child care, I was told she could no longer pick my child up from school, due to her schedule. I asked for a Refund for the days that she refused service as we had paid for a week and he had only been there one day. She said she would give us 20 bucks back. This place is a scam. Now I have to take off work because she could not fulfill her end of the deal and refuses to refund for services not rendered.

So yesterday (10-30-17) I get a call from my sons school that Ethyls Daycare ddnt get him and that they are closed until further notice. I hear threw hearsay the day care had some sort of electrical problem...Them not getting my son was not the problem. The problem was he was not picked up nor was I called... My baby was just left!!! Who does that?... Its Tuesday STILL haven't got a call and the icing on the cake is I paid Friday for this week!! So I must find a new aftercare asap and pay a new registration fee and weeks fee!! I felt Ethyl ddnt give a damn about my sons safety. I know at the end of the day its about money. But u have a right to do what's right concerning ppls children. Whn and if she opens my son will not be attending I do not recommend her.

Ethel's is a great place for your child to be. They treat the kids as if they were their own. The environment is safe and loving ❤️! I would totally recommend this daycare to any and everybody.
