I was so impressed and appreciative with the help and lessons that my son received. He was on a read plan and was reading below grade level. After receiving individual tutoring from Anne that tailored to his needs he is now reading above grade level and is more confident and enjoys reading!!! We have had a great experience working with Anne. My daughter started 1st grade behind in literacy and she struggled with the school curriculum. She started working with Anne and we saw significant improvement in just a few months. Her most recent iReady test scores were up by over 90 points since the beginning of the school year and she exceeded her annual growth goals set by her teacher. Anne is awesome, we almost held our daughter back a year due to reading. School interventions and pulling out of class were not working and she was falling further behind the class. Anne is nothing short of amazing! Our daughter’s had really incredible strides in both math and reading since she’s been working with Anne. Our son has seen Anne for about 2 years. We identified a potential reading issue before he started kindergarten, which was obvious once he was in a school environment and we wanted to get ahead of it to set him up for success. He went from needing literacy intervention at school to graduating from it and getting high scores in testing. He’s close to the 90th percentile now and while his school is amazing, the one on one attention Anne has given him has really been most impactful. She knows how to work with kids who can’t pay attention, kids who can’t sit still, and kids who have varying degrees of issues that may be holding them back. I really couldn’t speak more highly of Anne and I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone seeking a tutor for their child!

We found Anne during a time that felt extremely stressful as our 5 year old daughter was falling behind in her pre-reading/reading skills, and we as parents did not know where to even start in order to help her. It was painful to hear her kindergarten teacher negatively express the difficult time she felt our daughter was having with this skill; however, she did not have a plan to help our daughter catch up or improve in this area and we felt lost. We are forever thankful that another teacher friend pointed us to Anne!
After about a year of working with Anne, our daughter has gone from solidifying her knowledge of letter recognition and sounds to reading beginner level books and spelling/writing with incredibly beautiful penmanship. Our daughter’s confidence has grown exponentially and she has found a love for learning and specifically reading.
Anne is extremely organized, methodical, and disciplined in her approach which is exactly what our daughter needed to thrive! Anne is truly a hero in our family as she took an extremely stressful situation and faced it head on with confidence she would help our daughter, and she has done just that!

We have been working with Anne for 6 months. Our daughter has gone from just recognizing letter names to reading and spelling words - well beyond her Kindergarten classmates. Anne has been generous with both her time, advice, and personal material. She is extremely patient with our 5 year old. Even if we are having a 'tough' day, Anne is able to help turn it around, and our child comes out of tutoring smiling and happy. Anne has been fantastic and the best review we can give is that our daughter looks forward to going to learn with her!
