There is so many bad reviews but I hope they took care of the people that were ruining the company. I know they work with the county now and unsure when they started contracting with them but it’s been a pleasure having these workers in Calworks. I’ve been apart of the system since I was 15 and I can say calworks has truly sucked in the past. Nobody cared and the help was lacking so much. The two women on my case Dania and Melissa are the sweetest at what they do. They truly care and help as much as they can. They have a lot of work but they do it for us. I am so happy there are people like you ladies still in these positions. It’s been very hard over the years not just for me I’m sure for everyone.

Do not work for this company. They will fire you right before you can get your benefits without any written/verbal warning, write up or ANYTHING. They will have the temp agency fire you after they've squeezed all your efforts and hard work out. The morning I was fired, I woke up to housing another participant that i had spent months diligently helping. I helped standardize information and thats after receiving poor training. I heavily relied on my coworker for assistance as management, ESPECIALLY upper management rarely helped or cared about the difficult tasks at hand (Melanie). Melanie went out of her way to be neglectful to our company protocol and timelines. I was never provided with crisis training yet had to assist and speak to mentally unstable people constantly, always doing my best even when being cussed at or berated for things out of my control or scope. They fired me without any cause simply saying "no longer a good fit" contributing to homelessness as i was left so stressed without income.. it was a difficult time for me to bounce baxk and i almost didn't, it sent me into such a mental turmoil for being fired for no reason.. I almost gave up. of course after i had to MAKE sure they provide me with my mileage. All
in all i feel this is a poorly ran company that simply doesn't care about their employees.

We were discriminated against in the way of being handicapped and elderly at 90 years old and 60 years old. No one got back with us for any options to save our position with the program of helping homeless people Stabilize and WORSE yet their Unjust Actions were Proven to be so DETRIMENTAL thst it put my Elderly Mother of 90 Years -+ myself , a DISABLED woman of 59 & a Half , in a Worse Survival Status than BEFORE ever Involvec with 2 Specific “Incompetent case workers” who absolutely NOT NOT NOT be WorkING WITH HUMAN BEINGS!!!
No one in the EQUUS Supervisory or Director positions would REMEDY the Situation BEFORE it Quickly got OUT of Our Control and has NOW put BotH of US in much WORSE CHAOTIC CRITICAL LIFE SUSTAINING STATUS… it is Pathetic that a Company who claims in their MISSION Statement to PROVIDE help to Better IMPROVE the QUALITY of LIFE to Human Beings in Despair, to ALLOW such Horrible , Disgraceful & Damaging actions by some of their INCOMPETENT and Power hungry employees!!! Something NEEDs to be DONE to REMEDY this Mistreatment of ELDERY & DISABLED CLIENTs in the San Diego County Region, asap!!!

Nancy with Crowne Plaza transportation needs to learn how to talk to other people. Incredibly rude and does nothing to help those impacted by covid. Overall, a poorly run program. I work with covid patients at a local hospital and always have issues with this company.

Equals has no business running a homeless program at Fairfield inn they don't know how to deal with people with bipolar schizophrenic or any other mental health issues they don't know how to intervene on issues that go on with the homeless people they let the guards try to intimidate the homeless most of the guards that work under the care of equus were told that they are not their employee they are not to do anything that they ask them to do but they still do it anyway because they are threatened intimidated by them it was an incident the other night did the guard get on intimidating this gentleman homeless gentleman to a point where everybody that was involved of trying to help this gentleman we're all written up for disturbing the peace was there is no rule at the Fairfield inn but Equis can break the rules by their governor of office they can get pizza and give it to you the guards which is unethical by the standards this equus employee was training is one lady that was way younger than she was and soon as she got done training the person they harassed her put her down belittle her which one point when she had a chance with another location this guy had a stroke at Fairfield inn in the guards were trying to get a hold of acura's employees that were in the office and to go and reveal they had to perform CPR on the gentleman which helped the gentleman survive but they were rely on equus to do he would have died. The respect from Acworth to the homeless people are disrespecting them putting them down a shame of them lack of food and another one so that they say in the policy that they will provide food to those that have issues of eating certain things they do not do that water or crackers which is ridiculous there is no resolution with the homeless people and actors they won't be no housing they won't be any programs to help them to get better off the streets this is only a money-making scam against the county paying them millions of dollars Fairfield inn is the second housing program for the homeless besides crown plaza on circle way in San Diego California along with comfort inn they are breaking mini violations against human nature we try to contact the newspaper news there is not one report that leaves his office there's a grievance procedure that we're supposed to follow it's a joke you try to call call them up they refuse to respond and help you instead they just hide behind the walls they say what can I do for you but that's in your back on you when you really need the help this program should not be in place by the county
