Empowered Martial Arts is nothing short of stellar! The instructors are absolutely amazing with the kiddos; they keep it fun, yet disciplined. My son has never taken to any sport before, but he is always excited to go to his classes. He even practices at home without having to be told! And the change in his behavior at home and school has massively improved in such a short time. I couldn't be more grateful.
I also decided to take classes here and once again, everyone is amazing and the higher belts are quick to help and give advice as well as encouragement. This truly is a family environment and I couldn't be happier to be a member! I honestly do not feel that five stars is enough to give! 🙂

Tashi Mason creates a safe and encouraging environment where each child feels supported and motivated to do their best.

The lessons go beyond physical skills, teaching important values like discipline, respect, and perseverance. My child has grown in confidence and focus thanks to Tashi Mason’s guidance.

It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the progress and well-being of each student. It is especially impressive he knows every student’s name.

Great experience! Our child enjoyed it and is looking forward to going back. The instructors are very good at making sure the kids are learning and focusing on the task at hand. The class was very organized and made the new students feel welcome. This was something we appreciated.

This is the best place around. Their instructors are so patient with little kids and each child gets personal attention. You can tell they really enjoy leading the classes. I am also impressed with the older children who help out in the younger classes. They are kind and compassionate especially to new, shy young ones. They will sit next to them the entire class to help them get comfortable and they also recognize that they have a hard time leaving parents and going out on the mat and will come talk to them and lead them out. The entire group of folks has been amazing!

I absolutely LOVE the atmosphere that has been created here. Not only can you see that they care about your child and you. They will become like family. I could not have asked for better people to come into me children's life.

we joined right before the pandemic started last year. not sure of how things would go JGMAA didn't disappoint. They kept everyone active even whole families joined in. The instructors are very knowledgeable and very encouraging to both the adults and the youth. The change in my sons confidence in himself is amazing now that he is moving up the youth masters and a part of their storm team. My husband has worked hard on become a better man through this program and has become so much more fit. We love our JGMAA family!!!!!!

WOW where do I even begin?! John Geyston’s Martial Art Academy is amazing all the way around. The staff is incredible and caring to ALL of its members and to anyone who comes in. They do their best to help each person reach for what they strive for. They always welcome everyone who walks through their door with a warm welcome and embrace you. The facility is very clean and organized and has a great atmosphere. I am happy that I joined the JGMMA family and learn all the different techniques and train with some pretty awesome instructors!

My sons, 9and 13, and myself have just recently joined! First, the staff has been amazing! Second, the other members are fantastic as well. Since, we are new, EVERYONE has been courteous and open to sharing what they know. Overall, just a great experience!! The main reason for us joining was to get us active and involved. Being stagnant for the last year, I truly believe by us joining, has made a positive influence in all of our lives. Great place to be!
