As a prior educator in the 1-5 classroom, I can say I absolutely loved the students and faculty. I felt honored to be handed a class where I was trusted to organize and teach fun and engaging lessons to my students, and be using my degree! Public schools fall short of allowing their teachers to have full autonomy in their classrooms. Teaching a blended class allowed my students to engage in conversations that were meaningful and allowed them to use creativity to think outside of the box. Vicki and Sarah were amazing with communication, not only with staff, but parents and genuinely cared for parents and students. Unfortunately, military orders do not allow for feedback, or I would've begged to stay at the school or at least asked to return after this present move. If you want creativity, engagement and safety for your child, this is it! Don't second guess.

Nothing but positive feedback for ESSA! It’s a small and individualized school. My daughter has been since Pre-K and has learned so much since. They incorporate STEAM each day of the week and occasional fun & educational field trips. Teachers & Staffs are phenomenal when it comes to communication. Also a plus is that they offer before/after school care program! Tuition is VERY reasonable priced for a private school in the area.

Work to have consistent teachers and live up to the STEAM environment they advertise and speak of during the school tour. Develop engagement and communication with parents and explore better methods to encompass a positive learning structure for all students. Changes occurred suddenly with little to no communication to parents or students. Concerns about one classroom for grades 2nd thru 6th were disregarded. The school is well prepared for pre-k students, but does not meet the needs of school aged students.

I cannot speak highly enough of ESSA and the staff! The children receive an individualized education, and the staff truly care about the children, their education, and their well-being. Vicki and Sara do such an excellent job at creating a fun and welcoming environment for everyone. We are so appreciative for our sons' years spent at ESSA!

The school is small and very student focused. They work hard to include parents in every aspect of their children's education and teachers/staff communicate well with parents and with one another. The classes are arranged in groups of two grades in one classroom to allow for a Montessori-style learning setting where older students can review with the younger students and younger students can learn ahead with the older students. Overall everyone here is wonderful.

This school has made life hard for myself and family to trust anyone with our child again. First time my child is at away from us in someone else’s care had a staff member kiss her on the cheek, nail marks on my baby’s arm, and after I confronted them they confused my child’s Mongolian spots (birthmarks) as bruises. The director was really rude and unprofessional in our meeting and upset that they made a mistake. She stated that I should have told them about the spots on the application, but nowhere does the application have any mention about spots… only medical condition… Mongolian spots aren’t a medical condition. I do not trust the judgment of that staff to recommend anyone go there. The teacher was new coming back into teaching and made a horrible mistake that has me uneasy about anyone with my child. We had such a horrible experience at this school.
