We're so thankful for Debbie! I homeschool and was desperate for Algebra help for my daughter. I needed someone who was experienced in working with high school students, and could not only help her but could help me figure out what direction to go with teaching and curriculum. I Google searched and reached out to Debbie and we've been seeing her once a week since! My daughter has been helped immensely and so have I. It's very encouraging to have someone who is patient and kind but doesn't let her say she doesn't know or doesn't want to do something. I tell all my friend's who have kids in any kind of schooling, how much Debbie has helped us!

Debbi has been and continues to be an answer to our prayers! Our daughter has severe dyslexia, dysgraphia, and auditory processing disorder. Debbi truly understands how to teach our daughter in a way that she is able to understand. Our daughter has made immense progress due to Debbi’s wonderful teaching. Debbi teaches with extraordinary patience and kindness. Debbi has extensive knowledge in all subjects and is extremely gifted in teaching all types of learners. Our son has also started going to Debbi for math tutoring and his math skills have greatly improved! We are forever grateful for the many ways Debbi has blessed our family!

We have been working with Deborah Knutson at Academy NW for the last few years and have been so pleased. Our son just graduated and I cannot imagine having gotten him to this point without her help. She and I met often, she is easy to talk to and extremely accessible. Her classes related to his interests, while giving him what he needed to graduate. In fact, she was able to work with him on classes related to his future major, and I'm convinced all of this helped him do so well throughout the admissions process landing a scholarship at his first choice school. All that said, I cannot recommend Deborah enough.

Debbie was a great resource for my family and helped my husband to pass the language arts portion of the GED exam. He struggles with dyslexia and she was able to teach him some new skills in order to pass this final test. I would highly recommend Debbie for any tutoring needs. She is a kind person and is flexible to the needs of her clients.

Debbie has worked with my son for the last 7 years. My son has Visual and Auditory Processing and Mild Intellectual Disability. She is an amazing teacher. She has helped our son build his confidence and given him the tools to succeed. Debbie is also such an encouragement to me as a homeschool parent. She is always willing to listen and give advice on what would help. We couldn't have done it with out her!!

My first grader is currently going to Deborah. She is affordable, patient, and my daughter is making a lot of progress. Deborah is fantastic and quite knowledgeable. I would highly recommend whether your child needs a boost or has a learning disability.
