This has been one of the WORST experience of my life. I am an adjunct professor and I don't work some semesters and I have been trying to get my unemployment and they have made this process so DIFFICULT. I would prefer NOT to have to deal with this. I have not worked in nearly a month and I'm still waiting on them to approve my benefits. They also NEVER answer the phone. This is a TERRIBLE service because it is NOT about the people. My bills are backed up and I have to wait. These people are playing with people's lives and it's NOT fair.

This state has the worse unemployment program I've ever tried using . No one to talk too, inaccurate computations n no one to talk to about it, online is so hard to use I can't even get in my own account forget identity theft now no one can get their unemployment. This is why there's thousands of homeless . This program is failing Californians when we need it most. This is a federal program n I've never been denied my unemployment nor locked out of my online account and then told there's too many calls sorry call back tomorrow. This is why there's a homeless problem , no one can adjust that fast without the cushion that we rightfully paid in for p

I had a great experience at this Compton EDD office! I came in on Friday the 13th, but my day was fantastic. 👏 I has an issue that could not be resolved online. I came in and my representative was knowledgeable in helping me. I would recommend this EDD office to everyone.

Qualified for the pandemic assistance after a long struggle to get that claim but literally couldn’t certify online because the website would crash when I tried to submit, they didn’t accept my paper forms and whenever I try to call they disconnect me; I’ve tried to re certify online many times over the past month and it says I’ve done it and submitted it but a day later it’s like nothing happened and you cannot get through to them by phone no matter how many times you call because it just disconnects you every time. There automated system makes u go through five minutes of button pressing just to get disconnected, and the website crashes so much that it is literally useless; even when I think I’ve submitted thing successfully I get not results and I’m no the only one this has happened to.

This is my first time ever to write a review in any form here at google. When I called I was asking information for a training. She just replied to me very rude I should have asked for their supervisor but she already put down the phone. Very unprofessional how can a person work in a government office very unprofessional. Be kind everybody right now is struggling at least be compassionate when receiving calls. Don’t deserve even a star. And by the way she yelled at me so strong in my line that I have to put my phone away from my ear. Why can’t you be like Sacramento office very professional he wanted to help me but he has no records of me there.

It is truly a shame that during a crisis like this the main agency that should be functional and running properly is failing to meet basic common sense steps. If you have a call center that is open for only 4hrs a day and you won't even allow people to wait in a que you just automatically hang up. How in the world am I suppose to ask questions to a tape recorder. I am person that has to file from 2 states. I can't even complete my application online I am literally directed to call the center and then i get a hang up. I'm in limbo fighting to receive money not only that I need but I am entitled to. This should be criminal.

Great service in the front office, but that hispanic young lady in the back needs a professionalism class and to get off her cell while working. She did not even look up, when I walked up only uttered sign-in. Then she was very sarcastic in her
answers to two people. One an older lady thatvwas having a hard time getting signed it . No need for that. Other then that great office!!

Didnt even let me finish my sentence or ask a question when I called over the phone. Automaticly started talking over me. Guess what if you dont like your job quit choose a new career, no need to be rude.
