I'm a retired disabled senior veteran and I went there to get assistance with a power bill and they said I was over the limit on how much I get on disability by $27 so they wouldn't help me with my power bill.

These people have good intentions, but need much improvement on managing people’s information and communicating accurate information to people involved in their programs. Their office is clean and organized, staff is fairly courteous, but that’s all for not if they completely mess up critical information. You get different information about accounts depending on the person you speak to, so there seems like there is no communication between staff either. They may be trying to help, but you need to confirm what you are told.

This agency is very efficient & helpful to those of us in the community who need a hand up. I was impressed with the professional interactions of the Receptionist, Patricia, who makes & confirms appointments.
The man who unlocked the door & asked me Covid related questions as well as taking my temp , showed me the waiting room & checked back later to see if I was getting my appointment. I don’t know his name but he was tall, had a beard & thick dark hair . I noticed when he unlocked the door later, as a few of us were leaving…a person on a bike & another person in a wheel chair, came to the door from the street. Both appeared to be disabled & experiencing hard times, as so many are these days. The Employee who was standing at the door with the key, greeted each of these men with great respect calling each ‘ Sir’ & holding the door as each came inside. I had 1 last question & this ‘key’ employee (pun intended) took time to
answer my question thoroughly & ended by saying ‘be sure to call back if things did not happen as they should ‘ regarding my situation. He smiled as he went back inside & locked the door, making me feel comfortable with the entire situation. This is an agency that obviously cares about the community & makes it’s important services known & available to those eligible while treating clients as if they are welcomed to be served.

The ppl at here were phenomenal!!! The staff were Very caring and eager to help those in need! My intake caseworker, Treva was AWESOME!!! A beautiful lady, inside and out!!! Very good woman 💯
