The daycare is very nasty and dirty! I seen roaches by the baby bottles in the nursery room. The classrooms need a very deep cleaning and organization schedule going on. The kids stayed sick and the director Mrs. Lisa was not very pleasant to me at all. I shared a concern for an autistic child who attended there and they treated him different from the rest of the kids. It’s very short staffed there to I would never send my kids there I wouldn’t even send a dog there! Also, they treat the kids different based on parents care for there kids like if a child mom or dad isn’t that involved they kinda neglect and mistreat the child which isn’t ok because what if that child doesn’t get love at home. No child should be treated different! The health department should look into the cleanliness of the daycare because it was super dirty like the classrooms looked like they haven’t been cleaned in months!

Why you should avoid doing business with ELA.
If you are picking up your kids in the afternoon, there will be other parents reeking of substances. Sometimes the front lobby smells like it and there is no one up there.
Countless times my 4-year-old daughter came home singing inappropriate song she learned at the daycare.
Apparently if your child is there for more than 9 hours, ELA charges $1 per minute. This is not clearly stated in their manual or the contract you sign. The contract just said $1 per minute if you pick them up after closing. There is a line at the end stating the 9 hour limit, but doesn’t mention the fee applying to it. I was not informed that we were going over until months had gone by. As soon as we found out, we worked with our employers to make sure we complied within the time limit.
They then handed us an itemized invoice going back months for over $1000. They said they would do me a “FAVOR” and only charge an after-hours weekly fee. The total came down to around $300. Thanks for that. When I pled my case to Lisa, she said she would discuss it with the owner. Never heard from her again. They left me a letter stating my kids couldn’t come back because our balance was over $100. This is how they do business. I paid the bill and shut up.
They only take credit cards, not cash or check. There is a fee to process your payment. Expect to pay 15 to 20 dollars in processing fees per month.
There is a highchair in the center of the classroom for disruptive kids. If your child is misbehaving, they will be placed in the chair of shame and the other kids will continue to play around them. If your child swings at the teacher when being placed in the chair, they’re labeled violent and will be sent home. Expect your kid to be sent home on any whim as the teachers makes the decision to send them home, not the admin. If the regular teacher is not watching them, the sub will send your kid home in a heartbeat.
They go on field trips to get donuts but will tell you in advance that your child cannot go because they feel there will be behavioral issues. They intentionally leave the more “difficult” children out of special activities.
If you have questions, or need to address an issue, the teachers and directors will say you have to take it up with the owner, but the owner will not call you. I asked to speak with the owner no less than 7 times. She called once, but I was in a meeting at work. When I called back, no answer or reply. I did not speak with her until after my child was kicked out.
Teachers have the authority to suspend your child without going through the admin. One time my daughter was suspended and when I went to pick her up, the director had no idea she was suspended, but supported the teacher’s decision and sent her home. They don’t do any paperwork so when I finally spoke with the owner, she was completely unaware of all the incidents, and only knew about one.
Staff collect money for pizza parties. Apparently, no other parents contributed. They offered to give my money back, but when I went to collect, someone else contributed so I said just to just get the pizza. My daughter was sent home that day, they reported that they fed her spaghetti for lunch.
It is not hard to get in this building. Most the time you can just knock, and a parent will open the door for you. One time my daughter was sent home after being there for 10 minutes. I went to discipline her in the bathroom, but the bathrooms were locked. The staff said they didn’t have a key and that the director would be there soon. You mean to tell me you have a building full of children and no bathrooms. This place should be closed.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this organization at all costs. If I had any good thing to say, it is that my daughter absolutely loves Ms. Lola. There were lots of tears when we left.

Worst and unsafest daycare ever. I walked in no question. Staff never ask me for my id . no sign in and I even went to the back area where the children where. Director on a 2plus hour break . Other staff on duty not trained professionally. Asked if I needed to sign in the staff said no and I never even told them who I was until I was in the back with the kids. They are not going by protocol. Are the state guidelines. The director was absent from 12:40 pm till after 2:30 rethink and visit often if you have kids there. Eye view not the cleanest place either I noticed several trash cans in classrooms running over as staff babysit there phones on networks like Facebook and others mmm am while some kids were on naps. This place and staff need a closer look. REDFLAGS PERIOD….

I really love this daycare. They are very professional with all the children and they teach all of the children different activities to help them learn and grow. Early Learning Academy will pick up your child from school and bring them to the daycare for you. They also offer/teach a very unique skill in sign language to the children. I think that is a very cool and unique skill that I have never seen taught in a daycare. I would definitely recommend Early Learning Academy to anyone.
