Kevin (AKA Dr. Mac, the Apple Tech) came to our home several days ago.  Immediately I was comfortable with Kevin because he was so polite, kind, knowledgeable and extremely funny.  My wife and I quickly established an excellent rapport with Kevin.  It was like we had been friends for years.
I had unknowningly set my wife up with an Apple ID several years ago with a gmail address.  She just bought a new iPhone and that was her Apple ID.  I called Apple support several times and they were unable to deal with the problem.  I found out about Dr. Mac though CPR on Mangrove and he got right back to us after texting him.
He was here for several hours undoing the gmail address, giving her a new gmail address and then finally giving her an icloud email address.  He also worked on our MacBook Air and my iMac while he was here.
His knowledge base is vast.  He has been doing this for 38 years.  He told us several stories about how having an Apple Watch had saved 5 lives with customers here in Butte County. So, now I am seriously thinking about buying an Apple Watch.
Kevin is quite simply the very best.  He could easily be an Apple support supervisor tomorrow.  I am so pleased that this type of resource is available here in Chico.  Thank you Kevin!!

I have had Apple computers for over 30 years, and used computer techs for almost as long. Dr. Mac has been the best! He is patient, kind, professional, and knowledgable beyond all expectation. Plus, he has a delightful sense of humor!

I have consulted with him at least half-a-dozen times recently and he has helped me with some unusual and thorny problems. When I recently bought a new computer and needed help transferring files from my old one, we had a waiting period during which he turned his attention to my iPhone and did some extremely good work with me there, so there was no wasted time.

I particularly appreciate his looking over things as we go along and finding important things I didn't know needed tending to. He is patient and calm, but also doesn't waste any time, and goes about cleaning up areas that had not had any attention for a long time.

Because we live far apart geographically, all this is done seamlessly with his screen sharing program.

I highly recommend Kevin for all your Apple support needs!

Just had a conversation with Kevin about some of my concerns re: my iPhone and iCloud and MacBooks and am so thankful for his time and wisdom!! I was worried about some things that it turns out I didn't accurately understand, and he explained them perfectly. He put my fears at ease and I didn't even need him to come perform any of the tasks. Kevin Mallory (aka "Dr. Mac") has saved my digital life so many times. He's a complete wizard with any Apple product -- Macs, iPads, iPhones, watches, the list goes on and on. For his last spectacular save he figured out the problem I was having with Word for Mac was actually a Microsoft bug but got me fixed up anyway. Then just a few days later he rescued a friend that was victim of a hacker she had given her social security number to. Ouch!

Kevin is super friendly, supremely patient, very responsive, and knows his stuff. Forwards and backwards. I highly recommend him for all things Apple -- hardware, software, you name it. You will fall back in love with your Apple gizmos!!!!

I'm am absolutely the worst in navigating my laptop and even my I phone. Kevin came to my immediate rescue and fixed everything !!
He helped in so many ways from clearing junk, helping me with my more than one email, signatures for texts and emails and so much more. I know you're probably thinking. Oh, that's really easy to do well, not for me, and I couldn't be more grateful for his outstanding service. He was very responsive and returning my call right away and the best thing I didn't have to go anywhere he does home visits. Very delightful , Very helpful and super duper reliable. Thank you Kevin I can't thank you enough I will definitely make sure to shout you out on social media so all of my friends can hear about your outstanding service

I had a great experience with Dr.Mac. He helped me with my MacBook that was slowing down and would have issues with freezing. He asked good questions and educated me with some things to help with that. Overall, 10/10 recommend!

I do not normally write reviews; it must be a 10 star experience for me to take the time. But I feel compelled to write one about Kevin Mallory (aka Dr Mac) from Chico. My husband passed away 2 years ago and I have been challenged and anxious trying to keep up with all the jobs he did at home especially the “techie” stuff. Kevin had worked with him for many years on a myriad of problems and different Apple devices, and he was the one I contacted when I realized I needed help. He responded to my text within minutes and we set a date for 2 days ahead. He drove the 2 hours to my home and within 2 hours time, he had patiently unraveled several vexing issues. For over 3 months, my iphone was not receiving or connecting to phone calls at my home; a major inconvenience; and he solved that! He restored the operating system in my husbands old Apple computer so I can access several key databases on it including photos, music and a financial program we’d been using for over 20 years. He set me up with the new version of that program so I am launched into bringing it all up to date and useful for my new needs. I am astonished at the depth of Kevin's knowledge, perseverance skills, kindness and patience with me and all things Apple. I could not recommend Dr Mac more highly.
