We come here often to attend concerts. It is a very nice location and building. The staff is always decent. Prices aren’t bad. The seats could be a bit farther apart. Your arms and thighs are typically rubbing on the person next to you, that you may or may not know.

Also, I feel confident in saying that at the beginning of the shows they come on over the speaker and tell the audience to silence their cell phones and other electronic devices and video and audio recording are prohibited. However, they always have staff in there on a mission to tell people to get off their phones. If you don’t want people on their phone, why not just say that rather than just saying to silence the phone?

The theater is ok but if you want to see an event avoid the black box, no stage, all these mirrors and no stage, makes no sense. The activities are enjoyable, if the ticket person is not some puke whom is non inclusive. Make sure you buy some eiu gear before attendance then you won't stick out like a non-believer. Last time I was there I got glared at by food service lady when I asked about the wine. Cheap new zealand stuff, Funny all three degrees I got from easy illinois University, I had to pay for but alas I am not welcome.

Absolutely superb!!! My daughter and I visit as a prospective college for her studio art/graphic design degree.

The tour guide gave us an overview and then the department head took us through every classroom and we met the instructors. We were very impressed with the"greenness" of their art rooms.

They have a very up to date and extremely good curriculum that rivals U of I.

We went to see the Charleston High School musical. Such a nice venue with state of the art design, sound, and lights. Very nice to have a place like this locally.

It's a cool building, although the design causes the classrooms to have puddles of rain water leak inside. Also, you may feel uncomfortable wearing a skirt or dress in this building if you go upstairs. The main walkway bridge is a metal grate, so people could look up and see up your skirt if they wanted to. Did not enjoy having to make sure I wore pants every time I had class in Doudna.

I wish people from surrounding áreas would realized how many great shows are displayed in these venue ans such affordable prices. It definetly should have more marketing/ adversiting invested into it. We always have a great time with amazing productions and concerts.
