Double Tap is the best place to get training in the entire state of Alabama. Scott and Christian (Common Ground Training) are the best guys around. It's not too often you find great people who generally care about you getting better.

I had not fired a handgun in years. I have heard really good things about Double Tap. I am 76 yr old and have a little of a balance problem. I called and spoke with Scott Recchio. I told Scott about my situation and he told me what time he would be at the range and would be glad to show me a few things. A few things became spending a few hours with me teaching me gun safety, how to grip, aim and shoot. He also gave me some drills that I could do at home that would improve my shooting skills. He made sure that I was safe and paid attention to make sure that I didn't over do it. Scott is a fantastic instructor.
I had a great experience and will be going back. I recommend that you give Scott a call and let him know if you have any special situations or some goal you are trying to reach. It would be a good place to expose the family to the fun of shooting while learning how to do it safely and the right way.

Our first time out to Double Tap and we felt very welcomed by Scott. My husband and I are very new to shooting. Scott shared his knowledge and experience. He really helped us feel much more comfortable and confident. We both are so glad he took the time to talk to us and show us proper techniques. He showed us how to take them apart and oil them. We felt very welcomed and encouraged about shooting. The place has a good vibe for anyone. It's a great place to practice shooting. We will definitely be back.
