Casheema is not only a wonderful and patient person, but her daycare is extremely clean and modern. The children in Casheema’s care are not only being supervised but they are being educated as well. There are crafts, puzzles, books, hands on learning toys, outdoor activities, and so much more. I would feel comfort in knowing my children were in good hands at the DIY Learning Center.

My husband and I are new parents looking for daycare for our daughter who will be 1 in August. As educators, we were both so impressed with DIY Early Learning Center. We have been hoping to find a Montessori type of learning center with a small student to staff ratio, and I believe we found it! Casheema is so intentional about her work and her space, and all of her materials have a carefully thought out purpose. We are so excited about the possibility to send our daughter here!

Casheema has a beautiful facility within her home. It is organized and clean, but it is also warm and friendly. It would be any toddlers dream for a place to learn and grow. Casheema is an enthusiastic loving teacher. She has a zest for learning and life. This center is her passion.

I love Ms Casheema’s educational and fun space! There’s a LOT of room and everything is well taken care of and you can tell it’s high quality! It’s not everyday plastic toys but very realistic and Ms Casheema encourages the kids to excel and think about what they are doing and what will happen as an effect of their actions- for example building with blocks - making sure the structure is sound through trial and error experimentation.
She is always even toned and speaks calmly yet with a firm voice when needed.
Love how the kids are learning!

I stopped in today and got a very nice tour from Ms. Casheema.

I’ve never seen or been in an at home daycare before and did not know what to expect. I was EXTREMELY impressed by how clean and organized the home was. Everything I saw had a place to go. There weren’t toys or clutter laying about. Ms. Casheema is VERY organized and I love it! Even the carpets in her home were clean and very well maintained!! Her home had a nice clean smell to it too. It was definitely inviting!

The area for the kiddos was not limited to just one room. They have free reign of several rooms on the main floor. All which easily connect to each other, since there are not child gates everywhere.

In looking around, everything I saw was safe for the kiddos. There was not one thing I saw that was within reach of the kiddos that could either hurt them or cause danger to them. Everything they could touch or play with was kid friendly.

Ms. Casheema has different stations / play areas set up in her home. I could for sure see the many learning opportunities available for the kiddos. As a parent of a sensory kid, I was super excited to see the very large, free-standing sensory bin in one of the rooms.

Ms. Casheema herself was nice and very easy to talk to. Her interactions with one of the kiddo’s was really good. She was friendly to him and seemed to be patient with him. He also appeared to be a happy kiddo, so I’m sure he’s having fun while under her care.

I recommend checking out DIY Early Learning Center!!

Amelia has been at DIY Early Learning Center for about 9 months and I don’t have anything but positive things to say about the school, students or teachers. Amelia has shown such an interest lately in learning new skills, whether it be educational or lifestyle. From counting, coloring and sorting to learning how to maintain proper hygiene by covering her mouth and washing her hands. Casheema is an outstanding, patient woman with a gift in caring for and guiding children to success. It is undeniable that working with children is her true passion. I knew from the day I met Casheema that she would be such a positive influence in Amelia’s life- Amelia felt safe and welcomed right off the bat. Her ability to work with the kids as a group, all while focusing on each individual child’s needs or learning levels at the same time is phenomenal. The way she has turned her home into not only a school but a second home/safe place for her students is something that stands out immediately. DIY Early Learning Center is now enrolling for 2020, I highly recommend looking into this school for your little ones.
