I can’t say enough great things about this daycare—it’s truly a hidden gem! From day one, they have been reliable, dependable, and incredibly friendly. The daycare ladies are fantastic—they truly care about the kids and go above and beyond every day.

One of the things I appreciate most is how communicative they are. They work closely with parents, keeping us updated and involved, which gives me so much peace of mind. Their approach to teaching is amazing, including introducing the kids to sign language, which has been such a wonderful addition to my child’s learning.

The environment is warm and welcoming, and the staff is so down-to-earth. The fact that they have low turnover speaks volumes about how much they love what they do. It’s clear that this isn’t just a job for them—they genuinely care for each child as if they were their own.

If you’re looking for a daycare that feels like an extension of your own family, this is the place!

We are so happy we found a perfect fit for our son! Discovery Kids truly has earned their 4 stars on Colorado Shines! We love how they’re set up as a preschool compared to a daycare setting. Our little boy loves going to school! He loves Ms. Tayler and Ms. Bri as well as all the other teachers. The teachers engage with the kids all day, help them develop independence, and social skills. They’re great at communication and are very organized! The office staff is prompt at replying and work hard to make sure everything is running smoothly. We are so glad we finally got a spot here and will send our future kids here. We also rave about them to our fellow friends and families. 10/10 recommend. Get on their waitlist ASAP. You won’t regret it!!

Our experience with DKLC and the teachers and staff has been top notch. Our daughter attends in the Toodler classroom. She loves the teachers (and they love her), which gives me comfort that she’s well cared for and safe. The place is always clean and they have plenty of activities planned each day! We’re very appreciative of the teachers and experience thus far! I’d recommend DKLC to any parent of a little one.

Discovery Kids is an awesome childcare and preschool center. I've been with Discovery kids for almost 4 years now and I'm so happy with the whole environment. My kids love their teachers! They truly care about the kiddos and have so much compassion. Every step of the way with a growing toddler has been great! The check-in/check-out process is a breeze, doors are secure and I can trust my kids will be safe at this facility. Kirk has facilitated an amazing program and center for the Grand Valley. I appreciate all that they do and consider them one of the best!

We’ve been with Discovery Kids since my daughter was 2. We love the staff in all the classes. They are very good with all types of kiddos and seem to grow bonds with them which I think is important. The staff always keeps you in the loop with everything happening, and they take pride in the place of work. Always very clean!! If your looking for a great, fun, and safe environment for your kid(s) then look no further! Discovery kids is the best!

Very happy with Discovery Kids. They take great care of my kids, and are responsive to questions/concerns. It is so nice to know that my kids will be safe, have fun, receive good educational resources, and have consistent & reliable teachers. Both of my kids actively look forward to going each day. They've developed great relationships with each teacher. It is also reasonably priced with nice/clean/safe facilities.

My family did not have a great experience with this facility, unfortunately. 3 stars are strictly for the teacher and set up. However, my 17 month old son was bit in the face with bruises left on him two times after being at the facility a total of less than 40 hrs. I felt that my concerns were minimized and dismissed by the owners (not the teachers who had to do the tough job of calling me and were operating under whatever conditions required by admin). I did not feel that the situation was handled professionally. We were un-en rolled from the daycare without being notified after a lengthy in person conversation in which we were told we would be contacted.

Our son went to Discovery Kids for a year starting when he turned 1. It sounds cliche to say that words can't express how wonderful our experience was, but it's really how we feel. From our very first interactions with the director, every single staff member was professional, kind, and extremely welcoming to our family. The teachers were honest, direct, and kind in their communication and discipline strategies. We felt so at ease with the transition because they quickly made it clear how well they love their children and are devoted to supporting growth and devlopment. Our son learned so much in that year, and he was always happy to go to school. The only reason we left was due to having a second baby and needing a center that takes infants, as well. We wish we could stay and hope your family is as happy there as we were!
