So, my daughter came home after the tutoring session last night and almost crying that her tutor was upset she did not understand the AP calculus subject. If my daughter was genius, she did not need the tutor’s help. She is smart enough to take AP calculus and was granted to take this challenge by her school. She just needed little help to prepare for the exam, but it did not happened and we paid for the exchange of the service. Mr Scott Allen, who is co- owner of the discipline mind, should be aware the student’s need. Your job is to lift the student chin, not put it down.

Discipline Minds have amazing tutors and my son’s SAT score went up 110 points! Both JoAnn Zak who tutors in reading and writing and Greg Heard who tutors in Math have really done an outstanding job of teaching him different strategies to help him improve in parts of the test where he didn’t perform well. I highly recommend Discipline Minds to get your children on track to success with their academic goals!

If you are a parent looking to get your high school student some assistance for SAT prep you found the place. We had a short window from June till the August 24, 2024 SAT. For reading our son’s assigned tutor was Savannah and for math it was Greg. This company knows what it is doing. They laid out a plan and suggested the amount of session's. We did all our sessions remote. My son math went up by a 100 points and his already high reading writing went up by 20. This truly is an investment into your kids future. Everyone in this organization from the front office to the tutors bring their A game each interaction. I really can’t say enough good things about them.

Trent Strauch is the GOAT of math tutoring!!! My middle school and high school kids love Mr. Strauch. Most recently, after meeting for weekly sessions with Mr. Strauch for most of the school year, my oldest son received an A in AP Calculus, got a 5 on the AP Calculus exam and scored in the top 99% on the math portion of the ACT. Disciplined Minds’ ACT review course and Mr. Strauch’s ability to guide his learning path in the correct direction were definitely deciding factors in my son’s success…along with some good old-fashioned studying and homework!

I love disciplined minds!! I have worked here and gotten tutored here for over a year and have never had a bad experience. I ended up getting straight As in precalc and a 4 on my AP calc BC exam. Scott was my tutor.
