I have wanted to learn welding for 20+ years. I took the plunge and took a beginners class.

Such a great class! Liz and Gina were absolutely incredible, knowledgeable, fun, attentive, safety concious, and understanding.

The class was small enough that individual attention for questions and demonstrations were given. I was actually welding! It wasn't very pretty at first but, by the end of the class, it was much better and I took home my first piece of accomplishment! I can't wait to take another class!

I've taken multiple classes and workshops here, as well as worked with the owners on University projects. They are very knowledgeable and welcoming to the community! When I first went, I had no blade smithing/metal working experience but Liz, Rich, and Mario inspired me to get invested in the hobby.

There are constantly very cool guests instructors from around the country that teach there too. Don't miss out on a unique opportunity or to take advantage of their open forge hours for your own personal projects if you already have experience.

I took a Mokume Gane ring class and also copper fold forming with Jon Wick. It’s a really wonderful community at DMC. The owners, Rich and Liz are the best. All the instructors are very patient and knowledgeable.
