Unfortunately, this is my neighborhood grocery store and unfortunately, this is the third time this has happened when something is on sale and as I’m reading it up, it is not bringing up the sale price even after I put in my rewards number. customer service lady at checkout check the sales ad and said that they are not on sale I go back to the produce section took a picture of the product and sure enough it was Reane about $.77 each even though they were on sale for $.58(special) it’s just so sad that even in this economy when things are so high in priced grocery stores are still trying to rob you. check your receipts and check everything.

This is my go to store in Freeport.
I might pay a little more at times...but they always seem to have what I'm looking for...and more. I love the options without having to go to bigger stores!
A big plus also...if you ever buy flowers, Cubs is the place to go!!
The staff is always friendly, and will go above and beyond to help!

Clean store. Good produce. Has bakery, deli, hot deli, rotisserie chicken, pharmacy, and large liquor section. Can be hard to get help finding things.

Full grocery for special items not available at Aldi.
They have 4 self-check stations which I prefer. Other regular cashiers for those that prefer that.

Went to Cubs today, looking specifically for strawberries. The employee in produce was stocking fresh strawberries and caught our attention right away, he was incredibly nice. Helpful and told us the strawberries were on sale for 2/$5.00 because they accidentally ordered a bunch and they didn’t want them going bad. Which was great, I grabbed FOUR packs of strawberries and headed for the checkout. When I got to the checkout, they rang up $5.99/each. I called the employee at checkout to fix the problem. She was rude, asked me if I was a cub foods member, I told her no I don’t come often. I was pretty much told “too bad” and that she wouldn’t fix the price. The employee in produce did not mention that, he was happy to add the strawberries to my cart. Before I left, I checked the price on the bunker and it said “2 for $5.00” so instead of being rude and refusing to fix the price she could of just asked another employee. It definitely shows why Cub Foods is a place people go when they need a new things, instead of getting their weekly lists there.
