Not a good community outreach organization if they can’t help people on disability with food or electricity bills when they need it they wait until u get your stuff turned off thanks for all the help but not really and Ameren jacks up the bills for no reason. What they need is jobs in this area. I have to live in the dark at night with my cell phone flashlight and my heat register set at 62 I’m freezing at night. No one has any jobs and no one has assistant for anyone I’m tired of all the crap. Since making this review crosswalk cancelled my appointment for assistance thanks crosswalk your really not doing a
good job helping people and then u retaliate against the if they make a review how petty

Tried sending information numerous times thru their pica system..failed.
Tried faxing from a local library. Failed.
Told I had to bring papers from Jefferson county to West Frankfort and put in drop box. Did that.
Tried to call Mon, Tues, wed,...numerous times...nobody answers phone.

They don’t even go with the state guidelines on warranty and their contractor paying owners to do work because they don’t have time to do it and don’t have the city inspectors to come and clear their work and people that had work done and they lose their home due to poor quality work they do if your gonna have ur home work on I do not contact crosswalk you might as well pay for the real contractor to come in do work

Crosswalk community action center has done so much for my home with the weatheration program and energy assistance. Being disabled and on a very small fixed income has made it possible for us to keep our home and not waste money on gas and electricity water cooling too. Our home now is basically new. We want to express our thankfulness for everything you and the contractor's did for us.
