Had the pleasure of attending a seminar and Carlos was great at explaining concepts and theory and took the time to answer questions thoroughly, took time with each dog to ensure success. I’ve attended other seminars with other trainers and I was very impressed with how compassionate he was with each dog, you can tell he truly cares for dogs and it was a pleasure to be able to train with him for the weekend. Extremely valuable experience, highly recommend! I was able to take a lot away even though it was a short amount of time. Anyone that has the opportunity to work and train with him you will not regret it. Thank you Carlos I’d love to work with you again and look forward to the next time you’re in Ontario!

Carlos CRK9- and his team are top notch. He is an amazing trainer, hands down. He has amazing methods that make the dog happy they are training with him. My dog came back to me after a board and train with Carlos and she was obedient and happy. He bonded with her and loved her. He even incorporated her into his morning routine in his home to get her acclimated to appropriate home life. She came back confident and happy . He made sure she ate enough. He covered everything because he cares. He is an amazing trainer and if you have any doubt look no further , you will not regret it. Thank you to the team for an amazing job on my female Belgian Malinois six.

Carlos did an amazing job with Dixie. I got Dixie from the shelter in Marion County. She is 8 yrs old and was turned in by family members after her person died. Dixie needed recall and behavior training. She went into the board and train program for 4’weeks and presto!! Dixie has learned exactly what she needed to live a successful life and learned commands to keep her safe. Thank you Carlos. She smiles.

Sending my pup , Trooper, to CRK9 was the best decision I ever made! While he admittedly had a decent foundation before going to them for their board and train program, he came back even more solid and confident than he was before.

They have been a phenomenal resource regardless of if it’s been months or years after he “graduated”. They’re always willing to answer any questions I might have. The fact that they offer affordable boarding for their graduates has been incredibly helpful. I’m able to go on vacation and know that my boy is having just as much fun as I am and being well loved and taken care of.

Hands down, sending my dog to CRK9 was the best investment I’ve ever made and I would happily do it again if I had another dog!

I run the k9 unit for the largest mid level Law Enforcement Agency in NY State. This is the 2nd time we have hosted a seminar/workshop where we had Carlos out! This time he teamed up with Grassroots K9! Carlos doesn’t skip a beat and makes sure he is as attentive as possible to your wants and needs. He breaks things down to the most basic of objectives to help you understand what a realistic goal is! The seminar can be whatever you want from it, from theory conversations to being more in the suit and or just working your dog. He is extremely moldable to the kind of environment you chose to run! Every time we have a conversation I have taken something away from it! Slow and controlled! He doesn’t try and bang you or your dog up! I absolutely recommend getting some knowledge from this man!

As a professional trainer I seek wisdom and development from higher skillset trainers. Carlos has been a tremendous positive addtion to my studies. As a green decoy he has been able to break down the fundamentals in a very clear, constructive, and concise manner. Within the context of 2 seminars this year I have been able to grow a portion of my business that was lacking. His humble and straight forward, data driven approach has been one of the biggest stepping stones provided to me in training approaches and the science we use to condition dogs. Sending our Pyr to train with CRK9 was one of the best decisions we’ve made since purchasing her. Carlos and his staff truly love what they do and are exceptional at it. Our dog came home a different animal without any changes in her personality or temperament - still just one, big happy, (and now WELL BEHAVED) pup. Carlos and Alyse are extremely pleasant and professional and I never worry about Bunny anytime we board her with them. Whenever we pull into their driveway, Bunny is excited to be there. I can’t recommend them enough.

Just took a 2 day decoy seminar with Carlos and I can’t speak highly enough about it! Carlos is a master at his craft and has an ability to share his knowledge in a way that anyone can understand! I would absolutely recommend attending any seminar he teaches!
