My parents were at Crescent Care for 18 months total between them - 2022-2024. It's important to consider current info when deciding on a nursing home because management & staff change over time. There was not one person who worked there that was anything other than competent, helpful, and pleasant - to us as visitors, and to my parents - from the guy mopping the floor, to the nursing staff, to the activities staff, to management. The staff seemed happy - like they considered it a good place to work. They were happy to sit down with us for a meeting when we wanted updates (all the staff that worked with my parents gave a report at each meeting). Any kind of scrape or bump was reported to us immediately. They did exactly what you would hope a nursing home staff would do. The building, on the other hand, is old. They have just updated it - new paint & floors, so it looks much nicer than it did - but it's never going to look as fancy as the newer facilities. The skill & attitude of the staff more than make up it.

My papa is at Crescent Care. Great experience so far. The staff is so friendly, nurturing, and attentive! The place is very clean and smells nice. The residents look happy and comfortable.

Crescent Care is well maintained and has many caring, supportive staff members whom took wonderful care of our father. Especially want to recognize Taitiana, Lupe, Jackie and Melissa as amazing care providers. We would recommend this facility.

Good morning 🙏🏿 Crescent Care I was very pleased to see well you al have taken care of my Friend and Band Member Mr. Arvell Bradfeld he is in pretty good spirits, but he needs to be more mobile in his everyday life, I am going to be more hand on to help with that being said Thank's you al for that you together have Done.

Staffing has a great team! They communicate well, helpful to all aide, well caring to patients. Mangers are on top of aides and making sure all things are complete. I would highly recommend this facility!

I have nothing but good to say about Crescent Care! Even though it’s an older building, the Staff, Management, and Therapists are top notch! They take Excellent care of my husband and are Always available when he needs something! The nurses & CNA’s are Awesome & have an Excellent rapport with their patients! Another outstanding quality I am Very impressed with is their security! You have to check in via a photo machine & type in who you are there to visit! Then it spits out your photo pass with the patients name! Security is one of the main issues I am concerned with, so I feel confident at night when I leave that my husband will be safe! I understand it’s under new management & they are doing a Great job at remodeling the building with new flooring & paint with even more to come! I have read bad reviews in the past, but in my opinion, I feel this is a Wonderful facility with Excellent care, which is more important then a beautiful building! You can feel comfortable leaving your loved one at Crescent Care in Elgin!
