My son is going on his 5th session there and I can't say enough good things! Sam, the director is amazing! She goes above and beyond. My son really enjoyed his mini Monet class along with his sculpting class. His favorite class by far though, is sewing!

My son has attended Creative Artistry for the past two years and the director, Amber Larsen, has pulled absolute and utter magic out of his hands. Every time he brings home a project we are completely amazed and bewildered that he could be guided to such amazing artistic heights. This has been such a wonderful enriching experience for my son. His esteem and love of art have been greatly enhance by attending this school.

And I have to mention the awesome summer camps that are also available ! They are complete fun and lots of "work" gets done while the kids have a blast with Miss Amber.

This Center is truly a gem in the Crystal Lake area.

My children have been attending art classes at Creative Artistry for almost 2 years. They enjoy it very much. The instructors always work closely with them, give them ideas and teach them different techniques. A few times a year they also get to be in an art show to showcase their work. This is a wonderful experience.

My daughter has been attending art classes at Creative Artistry for the past four years and she loves it. Amber has really worked with her and helped her in so many areas, just as my daughter has grown so has her art. Amber really takes her time with each and every student. There are classes for kids of all ages. We have recommended this art studio to a lot of our friends and they all love it too.

Creative Arts is a non-profit art school for students of all ages, located on grounds of the Dole Mansion in Crystal Lake, Illinois. The Director earned a BA in Creative Writing from Beloit College in Wisconsin and a Masters of Fine Arts from Academy of Arts University in San Francisco. The Director also studied in Japan and Morocco.

Despite these impressive credentials, the school is down-to-earth and has something to offer for budding artists of all ages and skill levels. The curriculum is designed to inspire creativity and diversity. The teaching style is coaching / mentoring.

Classes include painting, drawing, sculpting, sewing, crochet, fantasy art, digital art, Manga and more.

My daughter has loved being able to learn new techniques and perfect her own style of painting. Amber stretches her and challenges her with each new painting that she paints. The ability to show off her hard work at the Dole Mansion during art shows is a wonderful experience as well.

Many classes and options available for students. Definitely would recommend this school to anyone who is interested in art. Amber works with each individual student and their needs.
