This place has to be a must try list for anybody looking for an original amazing restaurant in Durango! I don't know of another place in the four corners area that is doing high tea as well as this gallery and tea service. Their closest competitor has to be St. James tea room in Albuquerque. The ownership is super nice and will work with you to set up your event. Our party had eight people in it and they found a way to accommodate us for a gluten-free and dairy-free menu! Their tea selection is very good and service is top notch. In my opinion, the highlight of their menu is the chicken salad.

We had high tea this afternoon and it was incredible! Caprice is so kind and attentive and does an amazing job making the experience special. The set up was beautiful and all of the baked goods (made in house by Caprice!) were phenomenal. Very accommodating to food allergies as well. There’s a wide tea selection and plenty of beautiful artwork to check out during your visit. I would highly recommend dropping in for tea, pastries, art, or all of the above 🙂

High tea here is amazing!! Well worth the price. You get clotted cream and scones in addition to the menu items. Suppppper delicious and homemade 🙂

I know that most people won't understand what I am about to say because most people don't live in the amount of poverty that my family and I do. $15 might seem small to you but when $20 is all you have to your name that's a hit that hurts more than one would realize. I have a brother who has special needs. He's easily persuaded to buy into things or be lead in a direction that is counter productive to his current situation. I've been helping raise him because his mother passed away and our dad has Parkinson's disease. Noel night (tonight) my little brother wanted to go get a matcha sample. My partner and I were outside as I'm in a wheelchair and the establishment is not wheelchair friendly. Somehow he was persuaded to sit on a presentation and spend $15 on a small canister of matcha tea. I pulled him from the presentation after about 20 minutes of standing in the cold unaware he'd spent $15 of the $20 we had for our entire evening. I sent him back in for a refund and he came back out with cookies and tea stating they don't give refunds. I called her from the car where she continued to defend her no refund policy. Way to take advantage of the less fortunate!!! I'm extremely disappointed that you couldn't do the right thing. I really hope you needed that money more than we did but chances are you didn't so I hope you enjoy it more than we got to.

We had a tea party for 8 people. Lovely experience. The owner puts a lot of care and attention to detail for her tea and food. She was very accommodating to people’s food allergies. I will come back again to try more tasty tea and food.

This is a must do in Durango! This is such a cool experience that isn't available anywhere else in the area. Caprice was incredibly accommodating to last minute requests. She also makes all of the amazing treats from scratch. Seriously an amazing time with delicious food!
