We are from Houston,TX But we sold our home there & now travel USA FULL-TIME IN A MOTORHOME... and this is one of our FAVORITE places we are lucky enough to have stumbled into!!

Amazing "HIDDEN GEM BUSINESS" in a small town we discovered in Calera, AL!!

If you are ever near Calera,AL & you DON'T take the opportunity to stop in & meet these amazing ladies with oodles of memories & interesting historical tidbits about this place.... Well, all I can say is :

This place is far superior to the national chain pharmacys. The staff actively look for discounts for you and will apply for manufacturers discounts on your behalf. They also go to bat for you with insurance if they can. All in all, I trust cowart.

Cowart Drug has been up and running for decades prior to my 1955 arrival to Earth. In their existence they never strayed from the beloved family pharmacist, running their beloved retail establishment, all the while doing what it existed to do.

It's my honor, and privilege to be able to return to spend there.

Imagine, how they maintain their place in today's world with a busy CVS sharing their parking lots.

Went in for the first time maybe 2 months ago. Went back in for the second time yesterday. Not only did they recognize me, they asked about about things that were going on with me 2 months ago!!!

SO friendly and amazing! I hate that I've ever gone anywhere else. Love these people!

One of the few places you can still get the hometown pharmacy feel. Everyone may not know your name the first time you walk in, but they will the next time you visit. They're friendly, quick, and fairly priced. Pay them a visit!
