My experience at Courage CDL was nothing but the best. These guys are the business. Willie, Pablo and Margerito all care about you passing and learning the right way. Take it from somebody who started knowing nothing nothing about trucks to passing my first try. From day 1 I was put into the truck and 2 hour sessions each. It’s 1 on 1 training so other schools cannot compare. They also give you unlimited hours and unlimited tries, these guys WILL make sure you pass. It’s literally you and the truck, and the instructors are there to help so use them. Here you get what you put in, you move at your own pace. I went from 0 to 100 all in 2 months. And the best part is they work around your schedule 7am-5pm Mon- Sat. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to get their CDL.

Got my CDL Class A license training with Courage! Willy and Pablo are awesome instructors and an amazing team. Professional training to learn everything the right way at your own pace. One on one training with these guys make it a lot easier to learn. Pablo will show and teach you everything from maneuvers to how to go about passing your pre trip and air brake inspections, and getting in the truck with Willy is a great way to gain experience and learn first hand on the road. When I lost all hopes of getting a CDL even after being trained for 5 months with other schools, I was saved by Willie and Pablo with just 1 month of training - got my CDL with my first try!! Willie is an incredible trainer, humble person, Pablo is super sincere, understands and makes u understand the physics working while backing the truck up(other schools will keep yelling at you but won’t say the reason why you r making the mistake) Pablo did break everything down, super cool, super polite, he does a lot of root cause analysis, will be with me the whole time,did identify and helped me to break my mental blocks while backing up and They sincerely want you to pass.
This is a one o one training place means u are NOT standing in line all day for just a 20 minutes training session or even worse going back home most days without training driving 85 miles because of truck breakdown, they have good Volvo trucks, most of the training sessions are at least 2.30 hours long, very large training yard (NO cowboys yelling at you here that cause you loose concentration -happened to me at other schools,) super sincere down to earth people who will train you personally, definitely the BEST school in all of greater Los Angeles, can’t stress it enough, lucky that I at least found this place!

I spent months looking for the right CDL school, making phone calls requesting quotes and information, and Willie was the most straight forward and informative person I’d talked to. He invited me to come down to the yard where I talked to Pablo and the next day I was signed up.

Every day you get a 2 hour session alone with the truck, Pablo was an excellent instructor in all of the backing maneuvers, and pre trip inspections, extremely patient and also encouraging.

Margarito was my road instructor and had me driving the manual truck after my first couple of sessions out with him.

When I was ready they made an appointment for me at the DMV and I passed my first try! I would absolutely recommend this school to anyone looking to get their class A license. You really can’t beat the unlimited training, the one on one time with the trucks, and the level of enthusiasm and care the instructors bring in every day.

First I just want to say thank you to the team at Courage CDL, Pablo, Margarito , Larry and Willie. My experience was great, the trainers really care that you pass and provide guidance. They were patient and eager to teach. Yet as a student, you must put In the effort and take ownership for your own progress.

These guys are the best! Willie, Pablo and Margerito are amazing trainers and see to it that you pass. They do one on one training and make sure that you are ready for your test. I've heard horror stories of people going to different schools that set you up for failure and only care about the money. Not Courage CDL Training!! These guys want you to pass and are determined to set you up for success. This school was definitely a God send! When I first called to inquire about this school I pretty much already made my mind up because of how helpful Willie was. These guys take pride in what they do and it shows. Thank you again guys, you are the best in your field!!

This is a great school that is worth every dollar. I really like the fact that I got the truck to myself everytime I go. You don't share your time with anyone else. It's also a great school because they work with you until you pass. I passed in 2 months, and enjoyed the comfortable environment. Willy is a great person that is really passionate about teaching you. He is a little more on the strict side, but it's to make you better. He prepares you to deal with those DMV Instructors that make one nervous. So if you can learn along side with willy, you can do it with ease when you hit the DMV. Pablo is also a great instructor. He is a person that makes the environment comfortable, and emphasizes all the good things you do. Whenever you accomplish a small victory, it will never go unnoticed with him. This kind of comforting is good for building confidence. They're both really great instructors, and I am glad I came to this school. I really learned how to maneuver a trailer, and shift properly on a manual.
Don't think about, just sign up to this school. You will not regret it.
