Bad Sheriff Department I called them to them about this situation infront of my home and the lady asked me all this questions when I was live seen my cameras I was telling her what is going on and she likes I’ll send a unit we have an emergency before your call so guess what the cops showed up 2 hrs later and didn’t do anything about it!!!imagine an emergency calling the sheriff’s and don’t arrive on time we’re all dead!!!they should do something about situations and more we have kids so more important for our kids safety!!!!!if it was 0 stars I’ll give it 0..

When is someone from the city ever going to consider working on Artesia/Santa Fe bridge? Has been closed for quite some time and instead of working on it they blocked it off from the freeway and from both ends of the streets.. what's happening to all the taxpayer dollars for roadways.. thought that "gas tax" was to provide roads to be fixed yet this street is a perfect example that the citys council isn't doing there job.. i don't reside in Compton but if i did i would be furious. Something has to be done as it would ease traffic on Santa Fe/Greenleaf.

Through the worst pothole yesterday, causing pain to my shoulders, neck and back. I go through Potholes every day, but not like this one this was very dangerous. My car is now having power steering issues and I am taking it to the mechanic. This is a pothole that’s been there for a awhile. I’m suprised the city never cleaned this up or care. This can really hurt someone. I’m getting my car investigated.

I went to get a permit to re do my roof. This was my first time trying to pull a permit. The whole staff at the building department were very helpful. Thank you for all of your help.

Their process is a joke. They want to charge you for a license that only one other city(Carson, another joke) requires in all of the LA basin, but don't want spend funds to streamline the process. They have an online setup that doesn't function. Can't take my money online or over the phone, but want me to go in, only to tell me come back in 2 hours...SMH...mind you we're in a Pandemic. Greeting lady was very nice and helpful, staff is good if you go in there ready, if not good luck. For same day service make sure you're there at first hour. I was in and out in 2 hours the next time around.

The city of Compton gladly pays taxpayer money to the LASD, who operates a gang known as the Compton Executioners. This is not some little-known fact, everybody in Compton knows about this deputy gang. There's a Wikipedia page! Google LASD gangs and tell Compton to kick these LASD thugs to the curb.

Friendly service by the employees that received me. Since the pandemic, all visitors are required to facr wear masks and take their temperature.

However, since not more than one visitor is allowed per party and we are required to wait outside until our name is called, waiting can take up to 60 minutes or longer! What the City of Compton should do is allow the public to make online appointments to avoid the wait for customers and minimal chaos at the front desk for the employees. Also, it would be great if they allow online credit card payments in all departments with a minimal or no additional fees.
