I'm in charge of environmental and safety related training at my company. I needed an invoice in order to pay for one Platinum Library Pass and one 40-hour HAZWOPER Hybrid course through the payables channels we have here as a company. I was told that there is a $170.00 fee in order to get an invoice for the $2,030.00 package I was looking to purchase.
How ridiculous is that? - a $170 fee so that I can pay for two thousand dollars worth of training.
I've purchased from this company before and the convenience of the online and hybrid courses they offere is stellar. But I'd rather pay WAY more to a competitor than pay an ≈8.5% fee for three minutes worth of time in the accounting department in order to pay for this training through the channels we have as a company. This policy is just absolutely pitiful and absolutely ridiculous.

EDIT: As further incompetence on this company's part, they left a reply to my review stating that they cannot find me in their system and that this may be a fabricated review. Margaret Widelka is my maiden name and all correspondence with the company has been under my married name of Margaret Ashmore through my work email. They had ample time and opportunity to address my concerns prior to me leaving this review. This company is simply not worth the headache of doing business with.

Avoid at all costs! Absolute headache of a company to deal with!

My coworker and I both paid to take the HAZWOPER 40 hour. My coworker opted for the in person, and I did the online version. My coworker drove 2 hours to attend the in person training, and found out from the hotel receptionist that the training had been cancelled. Nobody from the company had sent an email regarding the cancellation. Other people were in the hotel lobby that were in the same situation. It took 2 weeks of repeatedly contacting the company to receive a refund. They would promise to call you back repeatedly – and they didn’t.

I completed the online course, and did my 8 hour HAZWOPER dress-out. The hotel that hosted the dress-out had no heat in our training room and the bathrooms were out of order. It also took 4 months to register for an 8 hour dress-out that wasn’t cancelled due to low attendance.

After the dress-out, I completed the online final exam and waited for my certification in the mail. Nothing arrived, so I called the company up and I was advised that I had received a refund. I explained that my coworker should have received the refund, instead of myself. The customer service rep said that all was good, and the certificate was being mailed out.

I waited a couple of weeks, no certificate arrived, so I called again. I explained the same issue again to a different customer service rep, and she told me that she was mailing out the certificate by Friday. Again, no certificate was mailed.

I called again, and this time I was directed to someone who told me that since I had received a refund, I would have to pay the full course fee to receive my certificate. They still have my coworkers full payment, because it was never refunded (THEIR MISTAKE FOR REFUNDING THE WRONG ACCOUNT). Only after arguing with the individual did he offer to escalate the issue to his manager. We will see if anything comes of this, but I’m not holding my breath.

This past summer was first time to use this company to register an employee. Aaron Redding emailed me back with all info right away. Three months later had to register 22 employees, set up an account, etc. I hit 3 hiccups and each one I'd just get frustrated. I'd call or email Aaron and he always replied "It's okay, I can fix that". Prompt response, patience and excellent customer service.

The people, the courses and the overall attitude of this company is amazing! Jeffrey Kline, President/CEO, is a wonderful human being that really treats every person he meets with dignity and respect. This thought process is reflected throughout the entire company. I would highly recommend using Compliance Solutions for any of your safety training classes.

Took 40-hour HAZWOPER course. The coursework was pretty dry (not sure how it couldn't be) and the course was expensive (paid for myself). However, many large consulting firms (Arcadis, WSP, etc.) sent their employees to this same course so I figured it was legitimate.

This is THE ONLY place i have and will ever train at! They have so many different options to allow the student and company flexibility! Not to mention when you call in you reach A REAL PERSON!
