Engaging with Compass Academics was a great experience for my daughter and for me. My daughter is applying for college a year early (graduating HS in 3 years). She was slightly handicapped by not being able to take all her junior year core courses before taking the ACT. She wanted to bring her score up in order to get into the school of her dreams.

Angie readily accommodated us with an abbreviated schedule due to other commitments. The team worked hard with my daughter, helping her to push herself and focus on the end goal. The results speak for themselves; she raised her overall score by 3 points. Even more important than the score, in my opinion, is that they helped her to gain more confidence as a learner and hard worker.

Compass Academics is a great team of tutors! They are knowledgeable, supportive, and insightful. My son increased his total score by 5 points after studying with Cindy and Libby. The plan of study was provided to him before the first session, so the lessons were very organized and on track but allowed for flexibility and concentration on topics that were more difficult for him. Compass Academics was so great working with both of my kids. My son's ACT score went up 5 points and three years later, my daughter's went up 7 points. Those are huge improvements and even better than we expected. I can't recommend them enough.
