This playground is goofy. It doesn’t make sense. It looks cool until you get up close and realize it isn’t made well for young kids. There’s no way to get to the taller slides unless you scale the yellow “climbing” wall from one side to the other. The fish feature that’s supposed to be a bridge has wide enough gaps in between that a toddler could get their foot stuck. One of the tunnels is basically a short slide. The “educational” measurements they provide are wrong too lol Whoever designed this park clearly didn’t take accessibility and safety into consideration.
Edit- if you can make it to the top to use this slide, it is kind of a tall drop off. Your kid will likely slide right off and land on the ground

Excellent recreational and sports park. There are soccer fields, tennis courts and volleyball courts. Also sanitary facilities with changing rooms and utilities.

Tennis courts have massive cracks and larger-than-the-ball sized gaps at the bottom of the perimeter fences. Near total disrepair. Embarrassing compared to Hoffman Estates parks.

One of the area's best parks. Well maintained and always full of life. Volleyball courts are great, the soccer fields are incredibly well kept, although the tennis courts need some crack repair. Playground also seems quite safe and built well.

Wow, this is a nice Lacrosse park. Public bathrooms are super clean. Fun playground close to the fields. Good parking. Close to the S. Barrington Arboretum if you can sneak away during practice...because sometimes you need a little me time before the stinky, sweaty players pile back into your car.

Picnic area, soccer fields, playground, big parking lot. Very convenient for community of south Barrington.

The third time we went playing soccer at 7 am Sunday we found soccer goalies locked to each other. Not dure who and why it was done. People come here to do sports, why would somebody do that. It must be open to everyone and free anytime.

Something for everyone here. Large playground with a several play structures. Baseball, tennis, soccer, and green areas to run in. Extensive path system for walking or running. There’s a covered pavilion in case the sun is too hot or it starts to rain. Also, bathroom facilities. At the conservancy there are trees that represent the diversity of trees in our state. Parking is ample. Note that the soccer fields are artifical turf which means they drain well and you will never have a muddy field.
