Just completed my first guided outdoor climbing experience ever with Jason Antin (our guide), and all I can say is 'WOW'. I was completely blown away.. What an experience!! Jason was awesome! He explained everything, providing expert guidance throughout our climb of the 3rd Flatiron.

I had never done any technical outdoor climbs before, all indoor, but living in Boulder, I felt this was a must. I was a little nervous at first, but I never felt unsafe, and the more we climbed, the easier it all felt.

The summit? Spectacular! I can never look at the Flatirons again the same way. Repelling off the back was just as fun. Again, never done it before, but Jason walked us through it all and made it seem so easy. Yeh, I got the bug, and I can't wait to do it again!

If you've been thinking about it.. if it's been on your mind.. don't wait anymore. DO IT! You will thank yourself you did.

We had a fantastic experience climbing the first flatiron with Jason! We wanted a guided climbing date night (I have very little climbing experience) and wanted it to be at sunset. Jason nailed it! Jason is knowledgeable and experience and he helped us both feel comfortable and safe and we had plenty of laughs along the way! If you have an adventure in mind or need someone to help drum something up with you, Jason is your guy to help execute!

I went on the Colorado Mountain School's Level 1 Avalanche hut trip at Cameron Pass.

My instructor was Jason Antin and I cannot say enough good things about Jason and how he ran the course. He was incredibly professional while being easy going and fun to share a hut with. He is incredibly knowledgeable about everything outdoor related which included being an expert in navigating avalanche terrain.
He is a great communicator and educator and is clearly passionate about his work. He goes above and beyond the call of duty and will put in whatever work it takes to ensure his students leave the course with the tools and knowledge they need to stay safe when planning a backcountry trip and navigating through avalanche prone territory.

The complete adventure package. We had an outstanding experience climbing the 3rd Flatiron with Jason and Norie as our guides. Their passion and expertise was immediately obvious. They ensured everyone felt comfortable and supported throughout the climb while also making it a very fun experience. I can't say enough about these two guides and the quality of trips offered by the Colorado Mountain School.

I reached out to Jason Antin/Colorado Mountain School to set a foundation for safe trad and alpine climbing. We met in Eldorado Canyon and the class went above and beyond all my expectations. We covered all the basics of placing gear, climbing on lead with gear, anchoring and rappelling. Jason was open to all my questions and answered them with expertise and patience. I will definitely be booking another class in the future. Very grateful for this experience!

Had an absolutely epic time at Lumpy Ridge on 8/30/24 with Jason Antin. He was an incredible guide and designed the perfect wide crack training day for me to get ready for some climbing goals this fall. He was also just a cool guy to hang out with for a day. I cannot recommend him enough to any future clients looking for a full value day in the mountains. I don't seek out "guided" experiences very often but I definitely plan to hit Jason up in the future, would highly recommend!!

My favorite mountain school in Colorado, they have very competent and friendly guides. Jake Gaventa was my guide two times of rock climbing and both were awesome he's the best mountain guide, very patient and always easy to spark a conversation with. He's very eager to teach everything he does and careful that you learn something everytime you go out with him. You'll definitely enjoy your time with the school.
