Colorado Christian University: A True Blessing

I just want to take a moment to share my experience with Colorado Christian University (CCU). Completing my bachelor’s degree online while working full-time and caring for a newborn was definitely a challenge, but CCU made it not just possible, but a genuinely rewarding experience.

From the get-go, I felt welcomed. The admissions team was incredibly friendly and took the time to walk me through every step of the enrollment process. They answered all my questions and made me feel confident in my decision to go back to school.

What I loved most was the flexibility of the asynchronous classes. With a full-time job and a new baby, having the freedom to study whenever it fit into my schedule was a lifesaver. I could dive into my coursework during nap times or late evenings after my little one went to bed. The online platform was easy to navigate, which helped me stay organized and connected with my professors and classmates.

Speaking of professors, I can’t say enough about how dedicated they are. They really care about their students and provide thoughtful feedback on assignments. The curriculum was engaging and relevant, and I appreciated how CCU incorporates faith into the learning experience. It made my studies feel meaningful and connected to my life.

Even though I was an online student, I felt a strong sense of community at CCU. The discussion boards and group projects allowed me to connect with my peers, many of whom were also juggling work and family. It was inspiring to share ideas and support each other through our journeys.

The support services were fantastic, too. Academic advising and career services were incredibly helpful, especially given my situation as a working parent. They provided tailored advice that helped me balance my studies with my family responsibilities.

Graduating from CCU was such a proud moment for me. Holding that diploma (and my baby) felt incredible, and it’s already making a difference in my career. I now have a degree that enhances my resume and opens up new opportunities. My confidence has soared, and I feel inspired to pursue my professional goals with a fresh perspective.

In summary, my time at Colorado Christian University has been truly transformative. The combination of a supportive environment, flexible asynchronous learning, and a commitment to quality education allowed me to achieve my goals amidst the chaos of life. I wholeheartedly recommend CCU to anyone looking to further their education while managing other commitments. This university has not only helped me earn a degree but has enriched my life in ways I never expected. Thank you, CCU, for an unforgettable experience!

CCU is an excellent place for our growing young adults. It is Bible based and the students seem to love the professors. If you look up Christian Universities and Colleges, CCU is at the top of the list for staying focused on Christ. The student apartments are absolutely amazing as well. And the food, at least when parents are on campus, is first rate.

I love CCU! Their online program is amazing for those who live outside of Lakewood or have to work long hours. The community and ability to help students succeed are stunning, and the Christian faith they show personally. They are not all talk as they walk the walk of loving like Jesus as well. The class setup is spectacular, and if needed, a student can do one accelerated course in 5 weeks. There are students who have done 2 classes and do amazing as well. I couldn't ask for a better university to complete my bachelor's degree with.

I was overjoyed to start college again. I was tools I had two scholarships and that the cost of classes were $250 each plus books. Imagine my surprise when I received a call wanting $1,445 for the class I just started and $4,000 for next semester! Teacher was fantastic but unfortunately I’m having to drop the class and I’m very disappointed in the whole process. And to think I have referred so many people saying what a great place it is, now I have to go back and update them on this.

This university is different than any other university I've ever been to. I don't attend, but my son just started this year (2021) in the premed program. Small class size, PhD professors from Princeton, Boston etc., with a passion for teaching students... it's academically rigorous, so it's not for everyone. Thank you CCU for NOT conforming to the lowering academic and moral standards at U.S. universities. My opinion is that CCU does EVERYTHING with purpose and excellence.

Let me start by saying that the instructors at CCU are fantastic. The classes are challenging but usually informative and engaging. The culture at this university is abysmal. I transferred here from a large state school and this is the most judged and distant from God I have ever felt. Everyone wears a mask to seem as perfect as possible and all opinions that differ from the norm are dismissed. At my previous university I frequently had wonderful conversations about God with believers and unbelievers. The only conversations I hear at CCU are about sin: how to avoid sin, how sinful we are, how sinful the world is and how we need to be better than "other" people. CCU is so blatantly and unapologetically pharisaical. If I was new to Christianity and placed on the CCU campus, I would run away from religion with my arms flailing. It saddens me greatly because many students do genuinely mean well; however, with a message of pious superiority constantly shoved down their throats, they end up looking down on everyone else instead of examining their own pride. I would love to see this university develop into a place that loves Jesus and wants to help others rather than a place that loves itself and wants to show how holy it is. For now, since I'm so scared to be myself here, I'll continue to spend all my free time with friends at CU, CSU and UW until the student culture improves. Until then I will be praying for the school and recommending that you attend a public university and have a proper college experience.

I'm a busy mom, worked full time until recently and have been working towards my Bach. Psychology with a minor in Spiritual Leadership. I've enjoyed every moment of my degree. The counselors have been phenomenal and the student financial aid department is both nice and helpful every time I've had to contact them. This isn't a slacker school. The courses are demanding and the knowledge you obtain is real. I love the flexibility online classes offers as I have two young boys at home and a full time job to keep up with. My experience here has deepen my faith and my confidence. I'm excited to say I'm CCU alumni class of 2017.
