I'm such a fan of College Tutors. We've used them for topics in high school AP Calculus, AP Physics and Adv Chemistry. They take the time to find the right tutor for the subject. Each of the tutors has been thorough and patient. We do all our tutoring remotely which has worked well. I would definitely recommend them!

My high school kid has been working with a tutor for chemistry for over 6 months through College Tutors. He was apprehensive at first about whether a college student would have enough tutoring experience to be comprehensively helpful rather than just to answer direct, specific questions. The tutor he was paired with is excellent. She comes prepared with practice problems to help master harder materials. She is able to identify areas that relate connecting topics previously covered or anticipating area that will be covered later. It’s apparent the team at College Tutors is careful in selecting very competent tutors.

College Tutors has been so helpful to my Sophomore studying Chemistry. Her tutor is very good at explaining concepts that my daughter missed during class. They are also very responsive and flexile. We love College Tutors.

We called the Austin branch of College Tutors when we had an emergency with one of our children who was failing High School Calculus. With 3 days to go before the Calculus retest, which would decide whether our child failed for the 6 weeks, we were assigned to an exceptional college student who connected with our child and worked at their speed. One hour every evening through Zoom was exactly what we needed. When our child received a 95% on their retest, and thus passed for the 6 weeks, we were relieved. We are now on a one-hour per week schedule, and our child is doing well in Calculus. I highly recommend this group. They were super responsive, easy to work with, and very effective.

My daughter needed help to catch up with her Algebra II class after having been ill. The Far West location reached out to us promptly and my daughter started a tutorial session with Bryan. We really appreciated the Sunday availability because my daughter had athletic meets on Saturdays. After her first session, she said," I did not realize that tutoring could be fun!" She looked forward to her sessions and brought her grades back up. When we need tutoring, we know we can depend on the staff at College Tutors. We definitely recommend them to others.

We have been using College Tutors for the past few years for entrance exam practice (SSATs and ISEEs). I have used two different offices, and my experience with both (Riverplace and Far West) has been wonderful. When friends ask, I always refer them to College Tutors. My son (6th) and my daughter (8th) have always raved about their tutors (Spanish, Math, Test prep specifically). They are attentive, listen, break down concepts so the kids can understand them, build up their confidence and somehow make learning fun! We will definitely continue to use College Tutors for any future needs. We have absolutely had AMAZING experiences with them.

We have used College Nannies and Tutors on Far West Blvd a few times for our kids. Most recently, our 6th grader needed some extra help with his Spanish class. After just one session, he was already more confident in his knowledge and we've seen improvements. After a few more sessions he told me "I finally am understanding things that didn't make sense before." Highly recommend.

I can't say enough about the tutors my boys have been matched with! Atlast, I have found THE place that truly HELPS my kids! They give them the individual assistance that is lacking in the classroom because of time constraints, copious amounts of curriculum to wade through etc. Whether reviewing for a test, teaching new material or reinforcing the lesson of the day, my boys have made tremendous strides in their Math classes since starting here in December. They actually enjoy the one-on-one attention. I can't say enough great things about College Nannies & Tutors! I have searched for tutors and have employed tutors but NONE can compare to the quality of the teachers/tutors that I have found here. They take the time to understand my child's learning style and truly WANT to help them where they NEED the help. Four Points College Nannies & Tutors is well worth the time & money!!
