My experience with CogniTutor was nothing short of excellent. I went through their intake form to get a tutor for their learn-to-learn program. The intake form was comprehensive which said a lot about the time they take to really get to know their students. I was assigned a tutor who was positive, nice yet serious in her pursuit of helping me. The learn-to-learn program was beneficial, as it covered the basics of being independent, setting goals, assessing what the needs of those goals are, and achieving them. The program coaches on fundamentals of good habits, nutritional foundation, good sleep rituals, information analysis, techniques to improve memory, learning strategies, self-reflection on strengths and weaknesses, effective planning, effective goal setting, progress analysis, and separating emotions from objectives so that a person can reach their objectives more effectively, amongst other things. I recommend it to anyone who has goals in life but is stuck in the weeds on how and where to start or someone who doesn't have a baseline for behaviors that can lead to success; two situations most students face when making decisions that can impact their futures. My experience with CogniTutor has shown me that a program like this is as important as a focus on certain subjects. Very worth it!
