I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Goldstein for my testing back in 2020. It’s not fun testing to do especially as an adult, but he was great. The report he provided was timely, and the center has continually aided me in getting the accommodations I need at all my institutions following testing. You should feel confident that they will help you and/or your child to the best of their ability and in a timely fashion!

I am a person with disabilities and I have a child with disabilities. My son's school made me prove that I have a disability and didn't believe that my son had disabilities. I came to Cognitive Solutions not knowing what I needed. I explained what was happening, and they knew what I needed and helped me. They walked me step by step on everything. They helped me with a FULL VERY DETAILED report for the school. To show them they are missing things. I feel better advocating for my child now with what the report was able to show and explain to me and the school. You don't know what you don't know and this report told me what I didn't know and explained it to me and put it in the report so that I could be a better advocate for my child. 504 and IEPs with the school are hard to work as is but this report has made things run so much smoother! If you are having a hard time with the school please please please go get your child tested! Go here because these people back up their reports as well! They even said that they could talk to the school if the report wasn't enough. (The report was definitely enough by the way!)

This is fine if you want an IQ test and maybe ADHD testing. They do not pick up on mood disorders or learning disabilities. I went to an out of network provider in Northbrook who spent over 12 hours with my child and picked up MANY diagnoses. They were just missed here and my psychologist warned me that they see many reports from here that are surface level and miss issues. I didn't want to believe it and didn't want to pay out of pocket, but it cost my family two years of suffering without answers and treatment. My child did start to read when getting evaluated here, so I thought everything was ok, but that masked underlying, more important issues.

Neurofeedback is newer, but this practice and team is committed to making patients feel comfortable and explained the process of treatment very well. I highly reccomend!

I would absolutely recommend Cognitive Solutions Learning Center to anyone looking to better understand their child's learning profile. Everyone on staff is extremely knowledgable, kind, and dedicated to helping clients and their families. Dr. Goldstein and Mr. Gottschalk are incredible and what they do and were a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend their services enough, their expertise and experience in the field is exceptional.

I am very glad that I had my 9 year old son evaluated here. Everyone here was very professional and friendly. My son and I always felt comfortable while at the office. It was a thorough evaluation and I have learned so much more about him and I feel that I can better understand him. The school and home recommendations are very helpful and I look forward to all of them. We saw Dr. Goldstein and had a great experience. I look forward to bringing my younger son as well for an evaluation in the near future.

I was evaluated here a few months ago and highly recommend Cognitive Solutions Learning Center. They had a short waitlist and accepted my insurance, which was fantastic. Additionally, the neuropsychologist who performed the evaluation was very competent, welcoming, and kind.

Dr. Ari Goldstein put my third grader at ease and made four hours of testing fun for her. He offered us insightful results and a detailed interpretation along with his personal recommendations that spanned several areas (clinical, educational, dietary, etc.) We have relied on this information for understanding our child's temperament and learning challenges, working with our school and teachers, and making decisions that will affect her future education. Dr. Goldstein and his office were easy to reach, responsive, supportive, highly professional, and friendly throughout our interactions. Highly recommended.
