It's a nice campus. We helped the Strong Oak club wit the haunted union. A bit of a light turn out for booths, but quite a lot of people showed up to have fun.

Honestly, I wish I could say that this place is great considering I live next to it and can walk there every day, but my experiences as Cochise College were...interesting, to say the least. Not once has anyone ever seemed to grasp that I've gone through their system not once, not twice, not even three times, but a total of nine different times. I went to do the same sequence of events over and over again and they still won't help me through the steps. I even had to correct an English teacher regarding grammar and spelling, which I find sad because they were teaching the GED/HSE course.

Edit (new 3 out of 5 rating): I shouldn't have been as harsh as I was with my first review of this place. I'll admit that I was a little heated after walking there, day after hot day, always being told the same things over and over again regarding registration. I based my previous 1 out of 5 rating solely on the registration process and that's not fair. It's also not their fault since they're not the ones who created the system in which we live, but I digress. Cochise College is one of those places I'll always remember. Not only because I've had plenty of memories there, but also because of the environment. It has a cool campus with openly labeled buildings so it's easy to traverse without total confusion. I did learn that they've never had a PA system, which I found odd considering the size and reputation of Cochise College. That obviously wouldn't deter me from studying there, but I definitely will be more cautious with my belongings, especially a bike I've locked up (which is how I found out that they didn't have a PA system from one of their security guards). I've never had a negative experience with the staff and they really do seem like they're trying to help, even though it may seem to you personally that they're just trying to get around your issues. The have some great holiday events and other events, if that's your cup of tea.

The people on this campus are so much friendlier & willing to help! I wish the staff at the Sierra vista campus was as good at their job as the Douglas staff!!! I would say it's worth the drive if you live in Sierra Vista to go to this campus instead. You'll have a better academic experience & staff interaction.

Worst community college I have attended! They do not have the correct procedures implemented in their financial aid department. Every week I am being asked for a different form of verification. Instead on asking for everything at once. Glad this will be my last semester. I would not recommend this college due to the frustration I have endured while attending this college!! Also, you meet with advisers that suggest classes to later find out they are non transferable. What is the point of meeting with an adviser then? Even though they understood my purpose was to move on to a local university. I will now have to retake a class I just completed. Waste of time and money!

Does not make sense to me that in the Nursing program if you have to re-take the med math you need to get a 90% on the final. When taking the med math for the first time you only need an 80%. Why does a person that is re-taking the class being punished. I look upon it as not giving up and trying their hardest to get past it and move on. This is unrealistic and not fair for the student. This is taking a lot of good students who would make wonderful nurses and throwing them away.

Predatory school. They scam soldiers. My GPA was only 3.0 and I was at the top of my class... This intuition will rip you off and make it hard for you to find quality education at a real institution.
