Lived there most of my life. It's a nice city and continues to grow with more industry locating in the area.

Ignore the bad reviews regarding the arrest of the elderly woman for not paying her trash bill. Most of the posts are from people who do not live or have never lived there. There's more to the story, than what was reported.

The city government is not some heartless monster looking to exploit it's citizens. In fact it's quite the opposite. They provide many public amenities, youth sports programs and hosts community events for the holidays (4th of July, Christmas, etc.).

Arresting an 82 year old lady for an unpaid trash bill is a new low. Putting anyone in jail over a civil matter is unacceptable. Jails are for criminals, not for forgetful grandmothers. Add this city to “places you never want to live” stories from now on!

Arrested an 82 yr old woman for not paying a 77 dollar trash bill. All so the could fine her and charge her over 200 to get out of jail. Way to take advantage of the elderly.

I dropped $5 on the ground and it was considered littering, then they charged me $5 for related trash fees but I couldn’t used the 5 dollar bill I dropped so they took me to jail. Cost me $285 to get out. 2/10.

Better leave this town. They still have debtors prison. Apparently they will arrest you for being late on your bill. I guess the city needs more money.
