I don't really have any complaints about the food here. I ordered a Greek salad with blackened chicken and it was a delicious and a generous portion. The service was good by my server but not as well by the person who seated me. I was disappointed that the food looked amazing on a a great glass plate, but the flatware was actually plastic forks.

Understandably the doors were open too which isn't uncommon here but I did have a flying ant on me during the meal and a wasp wouldn't leave me or my plate alone while I was seated inside. I'm allergic to both.

I did order a key lime pie to take home and share which flipped over and looked like a mess when I got home even though I thought I kept it upright. But with the salad, an iced tea and a slice of key lime pie, I spent over $35 for myself. It felt like a lot, even for the area.

My wife and I arrived for an early dinner on a Friday afternoon around 4:45pm. We were seated in the main dining room. Additional seating is offered in a heated outdoor seating area. Our service staff greeted us immediately and we were on to our drinks and an appetizer of crab cakes within minutes. We ordered the main courses of two 4 oz filets with shrimp scampi and the lamb lolly pops. Both came with our choice of salad or soup. We chose the garden salad.
The meal was well coordinated so all courses were finished before the next one arrived. The entrees were delicious, and the portions were generous. We opted to order desserts to go.
We have dined at City Hall many times over the last few years and the food is consistently excellent as is the service.
This establishment is on our short list for a night out and when entertaining guests from out of town.
Thank you for a wonderful dinner.

The price seems to be quite steep for a café, but my guess is due to limited dining options in the small town of Pagosas Spring. The dinner menu was by far not the most extensive, but I admit that I had a difficult time deciding what to eat, because the choices were equally appealing. In the end, I ordered one of the items on Chef's special, that was trout stuffed with crab meat and shrimp. Great attention was also given to the zucchini too. All entrees came with your choice of salad or soup. The buns and butter were the perfect way to warm up for the dish of the night.

Peggy, our server, was fantastic! The patty melt w/fries and chicken salad on rye with bacon & avocado with pasta salad was delicious. The breeze was beautiful, on a hot day, throughout the meal. I highly recommend!

We have been served the Egg Plant Tower twice & it was over cooked & under the sauce the egg plant was as black as tar. The other food was great. I truly don’t understand why a cook would serve burnt food & try to cover it up. 😢 Everyone looks stressed out. We tried the Lamb Lollipops on Valentine’s night. Most of them were served extra bloody(raw). We will try again in a few years.

An absolutely delightful dining experience. From the moment we walked in the door to leaving, we felt very welcome. The food was great. The drink selections were great. The dessert was great. You definitely have to check this place out if you’re in the area. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Overall just great experience and I plan on stopping in again next time I’m in town!

The name of this place is pretty inadequate. This place is better than just a cafe. It's an absolute gem. We always come here when we come to town.

We had the eggplant tower as an appetizer. We had the Cajun trio and the twin sole stuffed with crab and scallops, topped with shrimp.

As usual, everything was incredible. It always seems to be better than we remembered. We look forward to coming back next time!

Pasta Aioli was fantastic! Get it with blackened chicken. They don't have much of a kids' menu, but there are some options. Solid wine list, plenty of beer options, and good cocktails.
