The school and teachers are great, the 2 stars by no means reflects our experience at the school with our toddler. Highly recommend as a daycare and our little one loved going each and every day.

However, we had multiple billing issues (including being charge even after we left the school). Working with the administration was terrible and often took weeks to get our money back, with little to no urgency from their school head and finance team. Be sure to check your statement each month to make sure you’re not being over charged or charged when you’re not even going to the school anymore.

Children’s Learning Place Logan Square has been part of our family for 3 years. We have had both of our kids there from infant through the age of three. I’ll admit I was reluctant to send our kids to a daycare center. CLP drastically changed my understanding of daycare. Each teacher has made my kids feel safe, loved, and happy. We love each of them more than I have words to express. They each keep their positive energy and creativity all day for our kids. We LOVE them so much! When I walk into CLP, I feel like I’m home. The directors, especially Brittni and Alex, are the kindest, warmest, most flexible humans and both have a great sense of humor. With all of our questions throughout our years here, they respond quickly and with grace. You will be happy if you send your kids to CLP. You’ll sleep soundly knowing they’re in good hands.

Our family has had an amazing experience at Children’s Learning Place for the past three years. It was a great balance of fun and learning. We dearly loved all of her teachers—especially Mr Aiden, Ms Justine, Ms Araceli, Mr. Andy and teacher Zak. We really appreciated the daily updates with photos on the ap. They often took the kids on field trips and her 2s class was really supportive of our potty training goals and helped us get her trained quick. The admin team was always on the ball with communication, we loved Mr Alex, Brittni and the rest of the Logan CLP team! We will miss them all so much this year as she heads to pre-school! Thanks CLP for taking such great care of our baby girl!

Excellent atmosphere for little ones. Staff is extremely attentive to the needs of the children. Very welcoming and personable. Our grandson loves his teachers in all the classes he has been. I would recommend 10/10

We sent out kids to CLP in Logan Square for 10 years (three kids over that span of time) and cannot recommend them highly enough. We loved it there and were so sad to leave. They make you feel like family and there is a wonderful sense of community.

I cannot say enough good things about CLP - Logan Square. Finding a daycare that’s a good fit for your child and is in line with your values can be a challenge. We got so lucky when we learned about CLP. Both my son and I had a really hard time with the transition in the beginning because change is hard, but the teachers and directors were all super supportive, gentle, and understanding.

I appreciate the structured programming they offer. My son seems to really enjoy the enrichment activities such as yoga, music classes, kids fit, and Spanish class.

Every one of his teacher’s has been so lovely and easy to communicate with. CLP uses an app to share details about the child’s day like when their diaper was changed, when they used the potty, what they ate, how much they ate, what they worked on, etc. They also share pictures and videos and that is truly my favorite part!

What I love most though is the routine interactions with not just the teachers but the directors and other staff and wonderful families. It really is a great community and I highly recommend CLP if you’re looking for a joyful childcare experience.

Both of our sons have been going to CLP Logan Square full-time, since 3 months old (they are 3 1/2 and 2). They absolutely love it. CLP does a really great job of mixing play-based activities with learning. By the time my oldest son turned 2, he knew how to count to 10 and sing his ABCs. But he also loved creative play and art. And I know that's because of the environment he was surrounded by. And ALL of the staff in the entire building (east and west side) know our children's names, and are friendly and interactive with all the children. I generally have a hard time trusting my children in the care of others, but because my kids run in there so happy to be there, it makes it easier on us as parents to let go of all that worry.

Some aspects I also appreciate about the daycare:
- They have cameras in the classrooms and hallways; footage can be accessed upon request
- They use an app called Brightwheel to keep you updated on your child's day (including photos)
- They feed the kids well (healthy and hearty servings)
- I appreciate that they provide diapers and formula - this was hard to find when looking for day cares. They also provide all sorts of transitional food options for when your child starts to learn how to eat solids.
- They have a strict sick policy - this is for the safety of all the kids and as hard as it can be to find last minute care for your child when they wake up with a fever, it ends up being the best for the rest of the day care community so the teachers and other kids don't get sick too. We have had very, very few illnesses (knock on wood) compared to some of my friend's children at other facilities.
- Lastly, everything is very clean and well -organized. I wish I could keep our own play spaces at home this clean!

I think the only feedback we have needed to provide in our time here, is that communication to parents can sometimes be confusing or not comprehensive enough about more big-picture things (not regarding our kids day-today). But, there has been improvement over the years and it hasn't been anything that is harmful to us or our children. And since the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been very happy with their level of detail and planning surrounding their re-opening and safety precautions. They really are going over the top to ensure everyone's safety as best as they can with what is in their control.

We've enrolled our daughter to CLP for over a year and have been very happy with the care and education she has received. The teachers have really cared for her and gotten to know her and understand her needs and personality. I really feel like they keep it interesting and stimulating for her, which is important because she's an unusually active and curious toddler. I also feel like the administration is responsive and professional. As a teacher myself, I have high standards and expectations. We plan on keeping her there for the foreseeable future, and have never considered switching. Many of the teachers are available for sitting outside of school, and they also have monthly Friday night group sitting for a few hours for only $20 right at the school.

There are a lot of other nice things I could say about the teachers, but I'd just like to tell you about how once I dropped off my daughter on a Monday morning and as soon as I set her down, she ran over to her teacher and gave her a big hug.

I feel also that I want to call BS on the one-star reviews below. Those people don't even live in the area, so how could they possibly write a valid review?
