This school deserves a review! May 2024 was when I found out my son was not safe, he never went back the next school day going forward. My son is 1, started Aug2023. His classroom was Voyager 2, but depending on the staff scheduling he would spend time in Voyager 1 also. Since our time at this daycare, we’ve had Several complaints that were brought to Ms Jenn the Director. She was very nice, she would seem to correct the issues but then issues would happen again. Issues such as SIMPLE acknowledgement when dropping my baby off in the mornings. Especially If I wasn’t familiar w staff that morning. Diaper changing, multiple times where a specific staff member would leave left over poop, she even admitted she wouldn’t clean him. Certain staff members wouldn’t give my son breakfast, (within breakfast schedules). Winter time, AFTER my son was constantly sick here with RSV/COVID staff wouldnt care that these babies were playing in the cold water getting soaked outside. The complaints I had were pretty much common sense issues, but it made me look like the parent who’s always complaining. Which shortly word got around that I must complain a lot. During our time at this facility my son has came home with 2 bruises from 2 different times! The very first bruise was UNKNOWN, on his face. NO ONE COULD TELL ME ANYTHING. I brought to the directors attention to let her know that that was unacceptable, especially w 2 staff members always watching these kids. I let that one go. The 2nd bruise was so bad that the only explanation I got was my son wasn’t listening during circle time, he was running around and fell. This bruise stayed on his face for A WHILE it was purple! At first I figured ah makes since he’s a boy. PRETTY MUCH MOST OF THE STAFF THAT WOULD WATCH MY SON WERENT VERY FRIENDLY! Ms Evelyn, Ms Amber(teacher for Voyager6), Ms Elisa. In May when I found out from a FORMER EMPLOYEE who was AMAZING with the toddlers, she brought to my attention which I WENT LOOKING FOR HER PERSONALLY, because my son needed her and I felt comfortable leaving him with her. That week she was gone, I had it! I needed to find her! So when I got a hold of her she advised Everything that was going on! My son had been slapped in the face by his main teacher in V2. These babies get pulled by their arms/dragged, slapped, and hit on their backs before nap time while crying themselves to sleep! Staff picks these babies up by their arms above these kids heads! This former employee stated it was the WORST daycare she’d ever worked for. She made the director aware along with going above Ms Jenn. And she said nothing had been dealt with! When I got more information as who the former employee reported it to, she mentioned Ms Jenn’s boss Ms Taunia (home office). I personally & my mother have met Taunia, and she is a Very Rude, Unprofessional individual who shouldn’t be working in a daycare! She profiled parents/anyone who signed in that book that were DES paid for. I made her very much aware that I didn’t like how she came off, especially since most of us parents Do Work.
This facility had absolutely No Curriculum. No structure, and very chaotic. Too many different staff in and out daily, you can tell there was no communication during rotating shifts.
This pretty much sums up my review, I currently am waiting for the state to wrap up their investigation. But I’m sure it doesn’t help considering that NONE of the Cameras in this facility work! My son was immediately switched, and since then luckily my son’s behavior has changed INCREDIBLY, he even ENJOYS his teachers and you can tell they care for these children! I don’t even see kids with SNOT running down their lips like I used to with CLA! My son isn’t constantly sick either, and they wash these kids hands all throughout the day! Mind you, his new daycare has received 5 parents from Children’s Learning Adventure on River within a matter of 2months!!

This is for the employee that drives a charcoal grey SUV with a bike rack on the back. As I was pulling into the parking lot the other day, there was a WHITE SUV that decided to cut me off so he could park, almost causing an accident. I honked my horn but you in the grey SUV obviously having a very fragile ego and a guilty conscience you decided to follow me to McDonald’s honk your horn and flip me off while yelling obscenities at me thinking it was about you. Wow. Keep in mind you are someone that works at a business dealing with CHILDREN and you represent their business this way. I wonder how the company would feel about you acting like this. Especially when it had absolutely NOTHING to do with you in the first place but you decided to stick your nose where it didn’t belong and made yourself a part of it. You must be a special kind of stupid. I will be filing a complaint with the company. Hopefully they will take the proper procedures in making sure you don’t work with children if you can’t control your anger. I would hate to think that these kids have to deal with this type of behavior from you day in and day out. You obviously have major issues and I suggest therapy because you are not a good person and need to do better.

My son is in the school age room. There have been bumps in thr road, while starting this summer but my son enjoys going. There are some kids that can be rough, aggressive but they all come frome different backgrounds and we are working through that. We had some issues with a teacher and Ms. Bailey quickly addressed these issues and concerns. I am beyond thankful for her following through and ensuring my son is well taken care of! We are continuing to stay bc of her diligence, compassion ans love for the children. I have Previously worked in thr daycare setting and have an understanding of all of the challenges that arise... I just want to acknowledge her and If other have concerns reach out to her. She will address concerns! I will say there are a lot of children in the school age room and it's busy in there but my son loves going and has made some friends and looks forward to seeing them.

My son has been going to this daycare for the last 2 years. Jen is the one in charge of the daycare and she is unbelievably perfect she's always remembered my son's birthday every time a student and their parents walk-in she knows their names and asks them how their doing. Without her running the place I honestly don't know if my son would still be going here. The staff that she has employed have all treated my son perfectly. I have never met a person so dedicated to the care of others like her and her team.

Staff is nice. The kids can be mean. My son, whom was 5, has been bullied multiple times. Thrown and punched. I’ve spoken to the staff but they haven’t removed the kids. I was promised one would be removed by the director but he was still there. I recently heard another mother who was also complaining about the same kid because her kid was saying he was scared. I would look for a facility with cameras. Our kids are too precious to leave them just anywhere.

We have been going to CLA for 1.5 years and we are so happy that we have a safe and clean place for our little one. The staff always listen to any concerns and do whatever they can to fix any issue. We have had many great teachers for our daughter including Kayla who our daughter runs to when we drop her off in the mornings which always makes us feel good to know that she’s being taken care of and feels safe and loved while she’s there.

HORRIBLE DAY CARE! If I could give them no star I would. They need to be shut done but unfortunately that won't happen since they are corporate! They don't care about your kids just making money. If you could avoid this day care!!!!

I have been taking my daughter here since she was 4 months old. The care givers/teachers have been wonderful. It was not easy leaving my daughter with anyone other than family being a first time mom. Everyone from the care givers, admin, and management were so helpful and put my mind at ease. My daughter is currently 18 months old and is thriving in her new class. I would most certainly recommend this location to my family and friends! Sending so much appreciation to Jennifer (DM) Ashley(management) Ms. JJ, Ms. Cheyenne, Ms. Glenda, Ms. Gabby (care providers) and many more.
