Ok this camp is just amazing at the least. 2024 will be my 4 summer at Cheley and I love it so much. I had to leave early last year. But the staff, counselors , and camp directors were the best and so supportive. The activities are the BEST and I mean the BEST. Also the camp is the prettiest thing I have ever seen in my life. The kids are so nice and if is someone who isn’t the counselors are there to help and I promise you that. Finally the food omggg the food I am obsessed with the food. you get breakfast, lunch, And dinner then snacks like who doesn’t like that. All im saying is Cheley is the best thing ever.

My name is Fredrick Davis and I was at Cheley in 93 and 94 and I still reminisce of my time there and miss it so much.I attended as a burn survivor and I so want to go back.I now have 10 beautiful children and a loving wife and I tell them about my experience there all the time and I would love to bring them there one day before I die.I was in tears when I had to go back home and it still sits with me.Cheley has shown me so much,being im from Baton Rouge, La so all the scenery to the wildlife to the people was just so amazing. I am so blessed to have been a part of something so beautiful,loving,and most of all adventurous. I still wish I could talk to someone from that time I was there. Dave the wakeup guy would yell every morning to wake us up.(ITS A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN COLORADO!!!) I still remember waking up hours early just to see him come to the boys area to do that.I was 10 and 11 yrs old then. I so loved the horseback riding and it was my favorite part of my time there.My horse was Payday and I will never forget it 🥲🥲🥲.If I had money to take a vacation it most definitely would be CHELEY COLORADO CAMPS.I miss everything about it and would love to be there again🥹🥹🥹.I hope this gets to the Don Cheley family and staff and I hope to hear from and see you very soon. I love you guys and im so amazed on how well kept up the camp grounds are.PEACE AND GOD BLESS 🥲

Cheley has been a transformational experience for both of our children who have attended for several years. I cannot fully put into words how amazing this camp is, how caring the staff is, and the impact that this has had on our entire family. Cheley is not just a summer camp, but a place where your entire family unit belongs. Our children have become better, more confident people as a direct result of their summers spent in Estes Park at Cheley.

My children are second generation campers of the Perkins family. Our oldest will be celebrating their fifth summer, and our youngest their third summer, in 2024.

My husband grew up attending Cheley, and also worked there. We met the summer we both worked there. I knew just from working in the girls' kitchen that Cheley was a place I wanted my kids to attend one day.

Cheley makes for magical summers.

Our kids are 2nd generation campers. This year, our oldest will be a CILT and our youngest gets to move to full term from QB4. They give up anything else before they give up going to camp. Lifelong friends, life lessons, and. The most supportive environment to truly thrive. Words can't express how grateful we are to have Cheley in our lives.

I was a camper there for 6 summers in the mid 2000's and I can hands down say that my experiences there set me up for many of my successes later in life. The camp instills a strong sense of independence, civic responsibility, and self confidence. It provided true once in a lifetime experiences that have been foundational to the person I've become. One of the best experiences of my life.

Our 12 year old loved it. She's been to an adventure camp before but says that was a "baby" camp compared to the infrastructure at Cheley. Stuff was professional at our end and fun and welcoming on her end. She had an amazing summer!
PS: the only wish is that at this price point kids could sleep on actual mattresses but that's the problem with all of them😌
