Rabbi Nochum and Chyena Yusewitz run a wonderful Jewish community and synagogue at Chabad of Grass Valley. It's a warm and inviting atmosphere where everyone feels welcome, no matter what their religious observance is. At Chabad of GV, you have a chance to reconnect with your Jewish roots and learn more about your Jewish heritage. You will also enjoy delicious Jewish food taking you back to your Bubby's kitchen. I highly recommend experiencing a Friday night Shabbat dinner with the Rabbi or participating in any of their holiday events, classes and get togethers. You will feel welcome and connected to a larger Jewish community. You will make great friends and walk out inspired and wanting to come again.

rabbi and rebbetzin are so warm and awesome!!! go over for one event, you will feel like family. or for a shabbat meal for the best food ever!! whatever it is, it will be an unforgettable amazing experience.

My family and i were in the area and wanted to do something special for Shabbat. Rabbi
Nochum and his wife were fabulous hosts. We had a lovely kosher meal, enjoyed blessings and discussion and met other community members. Their facility is lovely! I highly recommend visiting them and all their services!!

Chabad of Grass Valley is the most incredible place. Rabbi Nochum and Chyena are warm, loving and full of energy. Their summer camp was a highlight full of amazing memories and positivity.

I was there for Chanukah, the rabbi and his wife were very warm and friendly!
There was a car Menorah parade and a public Menorah lighting.

Had a Really amazing experience here, extremely warm people, the rabbi and his wife are exceptional, services where beutiful, very inspiring and uplifting, it's a family oriented kind of place so theres stuff for the entire family, all ages are welcome and will definitely enjoy, very homey vibe.
