I was recommended Central Tutors by a friend who used them. I initially met with Jamie to discuss our son’s weaknesses and we agreed a plan for both Maths and Physics tuition at Nat 5 level.

So far these sessions have been going well and helping to cement learning in both subjects our son has been struggling with. Jamie helps tutor our son in Maths and Daniel in Physics. Our son has fed back how he now understands topics that he previously just couldn’t understand.

I would highly recommend them.

I would highly recommend Central Tutors. My son has only had a couple of sessions and the positive change in his knowledge and understanding of Chemisty is great to see.

Jamie has been fantastic tutor, very informative and has helped our son in areas he struggled with. Our son has went into his Chemisty prelim feeling alot more confident than he would have a few months ago and I'm certain that's because of the tutoring he has been receiving.

Delighted to have found Central Tutors and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Two of my kids have used Central Tutors, the study groups and one to one tutoring. Gave them confidence in both Chemistry and Physics, Nat 5 and Higher. Big help on stuff they weren’t getting explained at school fully. Both kids got As at Nat 5 and Higher in the subjects. Highly recommend!

Charlotte is a great biology tutor for my son.
She helps him by going through topics that he was struggling to understand and presets them in a way that he can get his head around. The sessions are engaging whilst covering each topic in detail, followed by practice exam questions to ensure his understanding.

Charlotte is friendly, flexible and overall an excellent tutor who I strongly recommend.

We have been using Central Tutors this year for my daughters Physics and Maths at SQA Higher Level.

Jamie has been incredibly professional throughout. After an initial consultation and listening to what we were looking for he paired my daughter with Gaia for both subjects. They have a great knowledge of the exams and levels - especially SQA. I felt other companies I contacted a little impersonal but the focus has very much been on my daughters needs.

Gaia has been excellent as a tutor and has offered both room to work on problem areas as well staying true to what is likely to come up in the exams.

I researched quite a few tutors before booking with Central Tutors and it's been really worthwhile and we are happy we went the them - it's given my daughter more confidence to work through these subjects 1 question at a time and break down the Highers in to more manageable chunks.

If you are 2 minds whether to use Central Tutors or not, I would happily endorse the service they offer.

Rebecca is a superb tutor for my son. She’s been encouraging and patient. His confidence in and enjoyment of biology has improved exponentially.

She plans each session and check she’s covering all the parts of each unit he’s ensure about.

My daughter's confidence really grew through tutoring with Jamie. She really engaged with his warm, friendly approach and the structured way they went through different topics. Jamie's style of teaching means she finally feels she understands her maths, as Jamie made sure the basics are covered and move upwards.
She felt really comfortable with Jamie and relaxed enough to ask questions and supported to learn. For a long time she has felt so low about her abilities and Jamie gave her some self belief back.
