I attended CFD in 2011 as an adolescent. I’m lucky I had the privilege to rehabilitate here. Of course while I was 16 and 17 years old I hated everything. My freedom was taken away and everything was very regimented. But in hindsight I see the purpose for it all. CFD was the only thing that worked for me long term in healing my eating disorder. This program is excellent and I highly recommend to parents with children struggling with an eating disorder that has taken over their life. I was lucky I had great staff members who really cared about my healing. Dr. A was my main doctor and she is a gifted provider. I’ll never forget her.

The staff made it hell besides sam abby Sabrina. There was some issues with some sanitary issues jared had his hair all up in our food maybe get better hair nets meg is the worst with her loud boots n her bad attitude. Nancy is NOT my mom it was miserable if you have a good personality they will drain you of joy and happiness slowly. Why is everything a Ed behavior? if u don’t have a laptop DO NOT COME!! You will slowly die. Rice bowls every day? And sandwiches? Hopefully I saved you from coming here.

My first weeks there where difficult, especially since counselors where on my back all the time but I mean they had their reasons. As time progress, I really enjoyed everyone there and everyone who works there is super kind and understanding. Their staff is great, but on call nurses can be somewhat questionable. The dietitian, Lauren, is super understanding, supportive, and overall understands the immense amount of pain clients go through, during weight restoration. The outings were great and the majority of the staff is awesome, especially the nurses. I definitely recommend CFD!!

The experience was overall neglectful every time I showed any sort of emotion nobody cared but I found that if another patient was struggling staff immediately asked them if they wanted to check in. I disliked staff other than 1 and always felt miserable. Only lasted 2 weeks there before getting admitted to the hospital again.

This place is really good, helpful for your recovery. The groups are great. I made the mistake of not participating. But if you do the groups they’re helpful! The staff are really nice. The food is good, the diet tech cooks some days. Overall if you need residential, I highly recommend this place.

I went here in 2014 for my anorexia and they quite literally saved my life. I’m sure the staff has all changed but all these negative reviews are ridiculous. They certainly did not have expired food and were very accommodating. Of course I had my own tiffs with a few staff members but all in all they really cared for all of us who were there. 10/10 recommend to anyone struggling with an ED

This place was horrible. They did not provide proper care treatment for a child or teen. If my me or other girls were depressed they would not try to help or talk to them. The staff does not care about the patients feelings. Dr. Martin is the worst doctor I have ever worked with, she is insensitive, ignorant, and overall just not good. I do not recommend here but I do recommend the CFD Danville, staff is very nice, respectful and really helps you through everything
