I completed my pre-license and post license courses with Career Academy of Real Estate. I chose the distance learning option ( 100% online). It was one of the best experiences that I had. The classes were convenient, thorough and taught me alot. If you are just getting started and need to take courses, this is a great school.

Trust the reviews! Tons of bugs in the system. I’ve had to retake some of the quizzes 2 and 3 times and it still not register. Literally shows that I’m 99% completed. No point of contact. Someone tells you they’ll take a message and call you back. I failed the prelicensing test once. When I went to retake they told me there was no record of my account. A ton of time, a lot of money for no results. It’s very frustrating trying to run down a company like this. Susan Lather was very apologetic the last time and offered a retake of the class but no other support was offered. In person was awful! It was the instructors first time teaching. He read from slides the entire course. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Unfortunately I found out about this school from it being listed on the AL Dept of Real Estate website as one that they accept. I wish I would have looked up reviews first or else I would have never given them my money. I finished my online classes 2 weeks ago and received an automated email saying to fill out their Licensing Process & Deadline form and email it to an email they provided. I did and 2 weeks later still haven’t heard back. I called and they said they have never even heard of that email address that THEY provided in their automated email to me and to email Ryan. They gave me her email, I emailed her and never heard back either. It’s going on 3 weeks now. This is SO unprofessional. Also their online class had a lot of bugs. It would make you redo sections that you have already done and not move on to the next page. I will never recommend this school to anyone

I took the complete online class for my post-license. The class itself was fine and I did well, no issues there. However, the lack of information provided for after you complete the class and pass the test cost me 12 days of my license being inactive. They never reported my credits to the commission despite my calls and emails. I was finally able to talk to someone and she was just as confused as I was as to why my credits had not been reported. Very unprofessional and could have been detrimental for some considering you can't practice any real estate on an inactive license.

Worst program ever! It's an old lady voice that will put you to sleep and makes it super hard to even try to do the work!! She would talked for almost 3 hours EXTREMELY SLOW and I would write everything down from each slide but yet none of the questions for the quiz would be from the session!!! I wish I done more research before picking this program! Spent wayyy too much money and still no licenses! Even took the program twice but still didn't learn anything! A LOT OF BUGS! You will have to retake quizzes multiple times!!

PLEASE do not purchase from this company. I signed up for a hybrid class to begin September 7th. After literally no one showed up to instruct, I receive an email a WEEK later saying they are starting in two weeks. Every single week I will get a text or email that it will then start following Monday. It is October 13th and class has not met once. The website is completely down so I couldn’t even do the online component if I tried. They provide an email, phone number, and physical address but the office is closed and I have not received a response after emailing multiple times and calling the company and the owner herself. It is extremely ironic that a class teaching you how to be a real estate professional has been the most unprofessional experience I might have ever had. I have filed a claim with my credit card company to hopefully recover the $455 that I was scammed.

I don't understand why this school has gotten bad reviews. I've used it for CE for the past few years and to get my license without issue. You can watch at your own pace and setting. I watched some of the courses while cooking dinner for the family, lol. Only had to contact them a couple of times and never had any issue.

There are bugs all over this material. I took a quiz 3 times without missing a question. It wouldn't let me move forward. Bad on me, but I took the pre license, post license and worked with owner to flesh out bugs. My wife took pre license and was assured the updated website was improved and better. It was worse. Only because I was used to the format I signed up for broker's class. The first section, 2nd quiz was hosed. I have requested a refund. We will see. I also emailed the owner twice before I started to see how things were going. Not a single response. Nothing. DO NOT USE this school.
