A paved trail circles most of the lake. It's about 2.2 miles and includes several stretches of sidewalk on the north-west side near Thompson Point student housing and Greek Row. It's mostly level, and suitable for wheelchair access. Opportunities abound for viewing trees, shrubs and other flora and fauna. The newly-renovated Becker pavilion offers an air-conditioned and heated indoor space surrounded on three sides with large tinted glass windows.
